It was good, there is a restaurant inside the hotel but no dinner, the pool has few towels available until someone shows up, the external restaurant is extremely expensive, with a 20% fee included, we went to celebrate 30 years of marriage and we left there extremely disappointed, a 2 hour trip for nothing.

While the location was great and the hotel looked clean. In the pictures, it looked much bigger than it is in reality. The staff were pleasant. We were given a room literally on top of the restaurant. Soooo all the smell (good & bad) of the food was in the room (NOT good). I asked for mountain view, was placed on the 2nd floor with the high kitchen top in front of the window. We weren't happy with the room location nor the noise from our upstairs neighbors at 3 a.m.

Unfortunately my husband and I described our stay as a comedy of errors. The property has potential - but they were understaffed which really hurt the experience. Our room was not ready at check in. At breakfast, our food was cold. The coffee was cold. The waitress, Sierra, who was very nice by the way, advised she would get us coffee from the lobby- which is free but we were still charged $10 for coffee. The people next to us sent their food back and left. I would describe the property as family tolerant. That’s okay- they were clear about it on the website so we knew what the rules were. However, room service was limited to Hibachi- with a large majority being uncooked options, which our children won’t eat. The TV didn’t work due to a universal remote issue - but staff came up several times to reset it for us. Overall, the staff were very friendly. They seemed understaffed and overwhelmed, but you could tell they tried. I wouldn’t personally describe this as a luxury hotel, but everyone’s opinion is different on that. They try- but maybe too hard. For example, they clearly put scent in the air/air ducts, but it’s very strong - in a luxury hotel, it’s pleasant but it’s not overpowering. I wish this property the best. It has a lot of potential and I think it can be great. We won’t be returning, but hopefully others have a better experience

Nice property, Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. I wish we knew that the other restaurant was closed Tuesday night. We didn't take advantage of Desaki next door because we were not in the mood for Sushi/Hibatchi. We ended up using Uber. Very close to Mt. Airy Casino

Swiftwater Pocono: highly recommend. The aesthetic was beautiful and serene. Very clean and amenities were intuitive. I would go back for sure! They even accommodated an early check out and did not charge me for the additional night, and they certainly could have. I will be coming back here.

Great location stay. Hidden gem in comparison to the other surrounding properties. I was personally impressed with the resort. My only gripe is the notion of soundproof rooms. That was not the case in my particular suite. I heard outside noise and my adjoining neighbors. But otherwise that, I enjoyed Swiftwater.
