The hotel was amazing! Ideally situated Lovely themed rooms, very quirky and brilliantly authentic. Spacious, clean, comfortable and great facilities. Great rooms but a pub downstairs with skull crushing noise till 11pm each night in spite of the ear plugs provided ! A pity as the rooms and location are excellent.

The hotel room was extremely clean, comfortable and nicely updated. The area is walkable and close to the High Street area. The only draw back is there is a bar on the first floor and stays open very late. Very loud.

I stayed two nights in the week and really enjoyed my stay, everyone was friendly, the room was lovely and the location great. There is a bar downstairs so I expected some noise and I could hear the music, but it finished between 11 and 11:30 when I stayed so I didn't find it disruptive. I really liked the decoration in the rooms, very nicely thought out, I'd stay again.

Our room was on the top floor but sounded like the bar was next door. Music blared out until after 1am on Saturday night, followed by revellers shouting on the street. No chance of getting any sleep before 1.30am. No breakfast facilities and self check in. Staff (Jess) were very responsive, but service quite slow in the bar. A bar with rooms rather than a hotel with a bar.
