Great time at the Ponderosa Lodge Red River
Red River is a small town and all restaurants close by night. We hit a snow diving in so we didn’t make it in time to eat dinner. The owner offered us a large pizza he had. Was probably one the best experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. They are remodeling but the rooms were great. Would recommend 100%

Secret treasure
Don't let the outside scare you. The building is old and they are renovating but the rooms are amazing. Clean, comfortable, and upscale. Well worth the price

Decent place once they get it fully remodeled.
The place is undergoing renovation, so lot of junk everywhere. Our room was remodeled, clean and nice - especially the TARs-like shower - lol. We never received room service despite hanging the sign, so it required a visit to the office to get TP and new towels. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay again. but hopefully next time, cleaned up better.

The hotel is getting remodeled, we did get one of the newer rooms and it was quite nice. The shower was fancy. The beds comfortable and there was a little fridge and microwave in the room. It is walkable to places to shop and eat.
