Brisbane and related destinations
Wander along the winding Brisbane River where ferries called CityCats offer the best views without the fuss of guided tours. The South Bank precinct transforms concrete into paradise with its artificial beach and subtropical gardens. Queensland Museum houses dinosaurs that seem ready to lumber back to life, while XXXX Brewery tours end with amber rewards that taste suspiciously better than elsewhere. Locals debate which riverside market offers superior mangoes with the intensity others reserve for sporting rivalries. At Suncorp Stadium, witness the religious fervor Queenslanders bring to rugby matches. Queen Street Mall bustles with shoppers, but the real treasures hide in Fortitude Valley's laneways where bartenders craft cocktails with backstories longer than their ingredients lists.

Rydges South Bank
"Our room was really clean and tidy. Our stay was excellent"
The Star Grand Brisbane
"We booked the riversuite and was given a corner room. Room is nice and we could see the suite but being in the corner, it was more of a side view than full view. Our living room was facing an office building and construction at queens wharf residences. However, the room was nicely furnished and we enjoyed it a lot. The automatic blinds, soft/bright 1 touch panel gave it a nice touch. Full day parking can be purchased but requires an extra ticket to validate the exit so going to the reception everytime can be quite troublesome if theres a queue. Convenience of a sizeable casino and connectivity to bridge, city area and many restaurants, cafe eateries (within compound as well) in short walking distance. JC from front desk was the most welcoming of all and took initiative to arrange for birthday cake, gave drinks vouchers and such. Small details but it meant so much. Absolutely love the location, the cleanliness and how new it is. We will return but probably not take this suite again."
Imperial Motel Windsor
"room clean and tidy a little bit noise if you staying near the road. but overall my stayed is good and confortable"
Swiss-Belhotel Woolloongabba, Brisbane
"All round, excellent location and facilities were up to a good standard, sliughtly disappointed with the breakfast arrangements, but everything else was very good."
Novotel Brisbane Airport
"We had a great stay here after a long flight over from the UK. Chef Paul cooked a great breakfast, would definitely recommend a stay here if you happen to be nearby"
Adina Apartment Hotel Brisbane
"We had a wonderful stay at Adina Hotel Brisbane. The apartment was exceptionally clean, spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax and everything we needed for a great stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. The location was fantastic central, safe and within easy walking distance of the Street shops and everything Brisbane has to offer. Overall, a fantastic place to stay with spacious rooms, excellent cleanliness, lovely staff and a very convenient location. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Adina Apartment Hotel Brisbane to anyone visiting the city"

"The bed was super comfy and the staff where extra helpful will definitely be back"
Evolution Apartments
"Room was spacious and clean - friendly staff and smooth check in. View from the room is excellent and the kitchen was fully equipped, with a large fridge and a freezer. Downside is that it is noisy in the night with lot of traffic on the highway, and train running all night. Also, the daily room service was just a change of towels - they did not clean up the room. Luggage storage could also be better - they just ask you to leave your luggage in their store room, without recording them in their system. Overall, everything went smoothly for us."
InterContinental Brisbane by IHG
"Retro cool lobby and bar area. Have you ever seen the film “High Anxiety”?"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Brisbane
- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Brisbane is in January, March, and April, when hotel prices are typically lower. To truly experience the city’s historic landmarks, cultural sites, and beautiful gardens, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. This duration allows you to explore the vibrant shopping districts, enjoy delightful dining options, and immerse yourself in the local culture, all while ensuring a budget-friendly trip that offers great value for money. Since prices may drop during these months, it’s an excellent opportunity for those traveling on a budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: You may discover great hotel deals in Brisbane by checking out the DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com, where discounted rates might be available. For those seeking last-minute options, the Last-Minute Deals section could help you find hotels near your travel date. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature on the app is a useful comparison tool that allows you to check hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to see opportunities to save. Stay alert with email or push notifications to catch flash sales and special promotions.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may differ due to factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Being flexible with your travel dates might help you save on your stay in a Brisbane hotel. For those interested in unique experiences, boutique hotels often provide a more personalized touch and may sometimes offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your selected dates is above or below the average. If it appears higher, we may suggest alternative dates that could help you find a more affordable option.
- Consider your location: Hotels near downtown usually have higher rates, but thanks to Brisbane's excellent public transportation, you might find a more affordable independent hotel located further out that's still well connected. For those interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighborhoods—or even lesser-known nearby cities—there is often excellent value for money. Choosing these alternative destinations could offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
