We love the grand America. We stay there a few times a year. It’s clean, cozy and so nice. We dislike the price to park our car and that housekeeping is always ansy and starts to ring the doorbell /knock at 7:30 am. Although checkout isn’t until 11 and I’d called to confirm that and had the do no disturb on our door.

Beautiful, historic hotel in downtown area. Impeccably decorated for Christmas. Room was large, comfortable, quiet with views of downtown and mountains. Ate dinner at one of the cafes and must say the food was delicious. Will definitely stay here again if in the area

Beautiful property and fun for the family.
Our room was so spacious and comfortable. We love coming here and have been staying every Xmas eve for the past 4 years here. It’s so nice and the Christmas decorations are a fun family tradition to check out including the gingerbread house. We love seeing all the lights and just feeling the Christmas spirit. We love swimming at the indoor pool and the water was heated. Staff is really nice and always so welcoming. Totally worth every penny. I do wish parking wasn’t $24 but oh well.

The staff here are as friendly as a dagger is soft. I would not recommend staying here especially if you have children. My children are around 14-17 and they still were not allowed to swim after 2100. The employees I dealt with were very annoyed to even be talking to me and check-in was not any better. They were not friendly or informative. When the clerk handed me the keys to the room he turned and walked away without even giving me directions to the elevator or our room. Never again, even if it was free.

Worth every penny!
Fabulous! Such a beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms, such friendly service. It was during Christmas season, so there were a lot of non guests in the main level to see the decorated windows and gingerbread house. The bed was comfortable and everything was so tidy clean. Robes and slippers to lounge in, as you watch the large screen TVs We were so glad we chose to stay here for our wedding anniversary!

The first time we stayed there, we were in a culture shock. But, it has been one of the best places we have ever stayed. The beds are comfortable, the size of the room is amazing. Only the shower is built for one. But, we have had problems with water pressure in other places, but not here. We love staying here.
