Check-in was smooth, the staff was friendly, and the exterior of the building was being updated with paint, a new roof, and downspouts.
The carpets were badly stained in the hallways, the restrooms near the pool were out of service (the men's was closed the entire time, the women's was closed on the last day of our stay). The repairs were poor; with gobs of caulk on the shower wall, a crumbling rear wall behind the shower stall, and circular patches covering holes in the hallway walls. The handicap lift for the pool was not charged, which prevented a teenage boy with cerebral palsy from accessing the pool. The shower floor had a steep slope from side to side and the pool tiles were covered with (what looked like) adhesive tub mats. We moved our car because downspouts and gutter pieces were being tossed off the roof (we were not warned about it).
