A tranquil paradise in Hollywood
It's a tranquil hotel with a swimming pool near the busy Hollywood highland area, closed to the metro station and TCL Museum. The room is lovely clean and spacious. There are soft drink machine and ice cream machine for free, I really love it. People there are very helpful. I will definitely stay there again next time in LA.

On a adoré
Très bon rapport qualité prix emplacement. Au cœur de Hollywood. La piscine est chauffée et très agréable. Les snacks, boissons softs et boissons chaudes à volonté ont fait le bonheur de toute la famille. Le petit déjeuner proposé est un peu light il ne faut pas s’attendre à un vrai petit déjeuner d’hôtel mais très suffisant. Les points négatifs : l’hôtel propose un service de parking un peu cher et les installations sont un peu vieillottes.

Welcome to an expensive AirBnb acting like a hotel
The hotel is a pretty old apartment community turned into a hotel with 1B1B unit called as suite rooms. The parking is a hassle, the free breakfast is laughable, the floors are creaky and you are sold magic related merchandize. The things I liked about the hotel were one of the front desk manager who did our check-in who was a pleasure to interact, was very co-operative, friendly and the reason why I didn't change my mind and go somewhere else after looking at the "hotel".

Magic Castle Hotel is amazing!
The Magic Castle Hotel is an awesome place to stay if you are visiting Universal Studios or the Hollywood area. Staff provide some of the most exceptional customer service I have ever experienced, the rooms were big and comfortable and the hotel provided a ton of great amenities. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and love every second of it as I did on this trip. A sincere thank you to all of the staff for making our family trip so much better!

Best Hotel Ever
We absolutely loved it here. It was a true respite while visiting LA. The kids agreed is the best place they've ever stayed. The complimentary items were a hit with all of us. And, the staff made the stay so pleasant. We may come back to LA just to stay and relax at the Magic Castle Hotel.

Felt very safe staying here alone with my children and the staff were beyond kind. Walking distance to the Hollywood walk of fame & everything we came to see. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone with a family.

This property is unique in that its right next to the Magic Castle. It is an older property so if you are strictly 5 star hotel person it might not be a satisfying experience but for my trip up to see a band it worked great! Staff was friendly and nice and parking was convenient which can be a hassle in that area.

Older building with great service
Someone commented that the outside looks like a crack house. I can’t disagree. They really should do something to make the outside look more inviting. They make up for it though with their friendly service and freebies. Soft serve ice cream, popsicle hot line, candy, snacks and the continental breakfast. Room was big and clean. Just old. We would have stayed there again but they had really raised their price for the next time we were coming for a concert. The only bummer was that I realized shortly after we left that I had forgot my swim suit hanging on the shower rod. It never made it to the lost and found.

Five Star Staff
What makes this hotel five star is undoubtedly the staff. They couldn't do enough to help and always with a smile. I was especially grateful to the reception staff. Although I arrived safely at LA Airport, my 2 suitcases did not, and the info given to me at the airport would not give me access to trace them. The staff made phone calls for me and thankfully they turned up 24 hours later just in time for me to get my taxi to my cruise ship. Without my suitcases I would have had to return home. Another great thing about this hotel is the free snacks available 24 hours and ice cream available all day from 10.00am. The included continental breakfast was plentiful. Although my room did not have a balcony (I was only staying 2 nights) there were plenty of rooms that did. The swimming pool is open 24 hours and was being much enjoyed by children and adults. I would certainly use it again if I was staying in LA
