I arrived by night and was told that this was no problem as they had an electronic lock that you could open with an app. When I arrived, this did not work and I was unable to open the door. I was also told they had a 24hr phone service, but when I tried calling it went straight to an automatic reply. This led to me having to find a new hotel at 00:30, which was quite an upleasant experience in a foreign country. When confronted with the situation they admitted that they have had problems with the lock and that this was not the first this had happened.
I would have been happy just getting a refund for the first night, since it was never possible for me to enter the door. After ignoring my emails I understood they had no intention of refunding me, and finally the offered me a voucher for night to be used within a year. I have no plans on going back to Bari, so this proposal was completely worthless to me.
This is the worst hotel experience I have had in my life and I strongly advise you to find another place to stay.
