This was an older Hampton Inn, which does not necessarily mean it would be a negative experience but the furniture at the front desk was all ripped up, the staff sat at the breakfast tables and talked to you from there. They didn’t even get up to help you from behind the desk. They didn’t let me have some bottled water when I asked even though I am a Hilton Honors member. The beds bounced like your grandma’s old spring mattress guest bed and felt like they were spring mattresses. Same looking frames and mattresses as other Hamptons I have stayed at but not the same quality. Just in general the worst experience staying anywhere to be honest. The shower gel container was broken off the wall so just left sitting in the bathtub. They didn’t have guests follow pool procedures, probably because they didn’t want to get up off their phones. I am a huge Hampton Inn supporter, but was extremely disappointed by this location. Especially since it is a block from the biggest hospital in the state and must often host grieving families. I will stay next door at the Holiday Inn Express in the future.
