Let’s start with the positive - the fitness center was amazing and we were very happy to have it included as part of our stay. Staff was also friendly and helpful.
However, that’s about all we loved.
There is acaffolding and construction all over property - no notice was given before we arrived, no discount, so we had an ugly view and saw men outside the window all day. Didn’t feel private or nice.
Two mornings at 8am they tested the fire alarm with no warning.
Only one bottle of water per day was given for two people.
Doors aren’t sealed so noises come in from bottom as does light from the hallway, so if you’re light or noise sensitive you will be woken; and there are no curtains, only a shade, so light also peeks in.
Not much natural light entered the room so it was somewhat dark during day.
Pillows were soft and unsupportive so sleeping wasn’t great. Beds were ok.
Housekeeping didn’t refill amenities we needed, like cotton swabs, which was annoying.
There was really nothing to make you feel like this is a resort, and nothing to justify the price, except exorbitant prices ($220 for wagyu beef at the Limewood restaurant).
