I had initially booked a two day stay here, but cut it down to one after seeing the condition of the property. It has probably reached the point where a remodel is needed. The place is tired and has seen better days. I like Hampton Inn but have noticed they will try to keep a property going way too long before the remodel is needed.

We booked this hotel stay for one night and it was a bad experience for my husband who has many allergies. It started when we first entered the room there was a strong perfume smell likely from the deodorizer used to clean the room. The carpet had stains on them. The pillows had duck feathers which my husband is highly allergic to. We called the front desk and requested foam pillows which they exchanged for us. The night was completely ruined for my husband. This experience has taught us it is important to communicate directly with the hotel and let them know of any allergies so they can ensure the room is prepared accordingly.

The mattress and pillows have gone down in quality. Noticed it in 2024 and really felt it this visit. Also the bed squeaked every time you moved position and it would wake my husband.

Two night stay
Lovely stay at Hampton Inn! I received an upgraded room at check-in, which was very roomy and comfortable (accessible). Wonderful amenities, dog-friendly, nice pool. Hector was great at front desk and in fact everyone except a couple of the housekeeping staff was friendly. Parking free and plenty of it, including handicapped spots. Quiet area and quiet room. Don’t hesitate to stay here!

Maybe Sebastian at the front desk should get help because he seemed overwhelmed as if he couldn’t handle just one customer in front of me. As a consumer/customer I shouldn’t know or feel that you’re bothered by me no matter how many customers you’ve seen before me. I had to ask Sebastian the same questions twice and he never answered them until finally someone else walked up there who I believe was his manager and so he pretended to be engaged. He didn’t do anything he said he would do for me to have an enjoyable experience there and that’s because he really didn’t want that from what I can see. That was last time there and if you can see I have gone to several hotels and I review them all some which is a part of my job and others are not. I had not once mentioned about the customer service out of the 16 hotels this year and so, Sebastian is the first. He was just horrible because his smile when I walked in was very warming at the time but again that was because others were in front of him. Everyone is not customer service material or it could be because I’m me! I’m a blogger and I have over 20k followers so I have to say this is my very first really negative review I’ll be posting on social media. And oh, the maids will knock on your door before checkout which is never anything I will be a fan of.
