Verschrikkelijk

Kan niet begrijpen dat dit hotel gereserveerd kon worden. Wij hebben van familie en vrienden opmeet eiland gehoord dat het niet goed gaat. Meerdere keren gebeld met Expedia om dit door te geven en gevraagd of er problemen zijn. Het antwoord was er is niks aan de hand. Bij binnenkomst is er al een muffe geur, airco maakte veel lawaai. De volgende dag nieuwe kamer gevraagd . Geen WiFi en ook geen kabel tv. Uiteindelijk werden we na een paar dagen het hotel uitgezet want er was geen electriciteit en hotel werd gesloten. een halve middag kwijt aan verhuizen. Nooit zoiets meegemaakt. Geen aanrader!!!!!

Ik heb geen woorden voor...vreselijk , er was niks te beleven in deze hotel die helemaal niet functioneel..!!17 augustus 2018 hebben ze de water en elektrische afgesloten alle guesten moesten de hotel verlaten..Dit was geen vakantie...!! De ontbijt was iederdag gebakken ei uit drie keuzen..

Unfortunately this resort is nothing close to what is advertised on Expedia. Our Taxi driver was even shocked upon dropping us there as he was certain the place was closed due to bankruptcy. We had no WiFi, no cable, no restaurant and no bar. The place is completely outdated, I was afraid to sit on the furniture. The reception however did their best to accommodate us. It’s unfortunate that the hotel was not maintained properly as it would have great potential.

Great location, dive shop and good value!

Nice location right on the beach which is hard to find in Otrabanda. Fantastic dive shop, Goby Divers, right on site. This resort has all the ingredients that should make it a top destination. Unfortunately, when we were there, a local labor strike was in effect limiting availability of breakfast, pool bar services and apparently, the onsite casino. This resort was good the way it was and the price was a good value.

Ok hotell till det priset men tråkigt att det inte står någonstans att varken bar eller restaurang är öppen. Småmyror på rummet. Frukosten äts på en amerikansk restaurang bredvid hotellet som smaka bra de första dagarna men eftersom det bara finns 3 alternativ, där allt smakar samma, blir det lite uttråkande. Dock stora portioner!

However my stay was for one night, there was no soap in bathroom. 2 extra pillows and soup was requested to the front desk, and found in room only one small pillow and two small soaps. When we got to the room the key did not open the door, and we had to go back to the front desk. The security escorted us again to the room and noticed that the the door system was not functioning well, and told us he would report it.

I stayed for two days at Holiday Beach Resort, rooms are comfortable and clean. I was alone and originally had a 1st floor ground suite which I was a little scared to be in, and they were nice to change my room to the 3rd floor for me. Unfortunately, the beach isn't the greatest.. the white sand is very rocky - you have to wear sandals up until you're closer to the water because it is so hard to walk on - and the water also gets deep very fast. I can see why not much people have gone in the water. I ended up taking a day trip to Mambo Beach to get some great beach time. Overall, for a two day stay, I would recommend the hotel but only if you aren't planning on staying on resort grounds. There wasn't anything open on the resort (bars, snacks, car rental place & excursion office were all closed during my two day stay). The only great bonus for food is having the 24 hour Denny's restaurant that is attached to the resort on the outside. Otherwise, comfy rooms and friendly hotel staff for a quick place to stay.

If I could give this hotel a 0 I would. The pictures online look nothing like the actual hotel. Do yourself a favor and avoid staying here. When you arrive you are not greeted at the lobby. The air conditioner was not working, it was very hot and humid. They provided us with a small fan and there was 3 of us in the room. The hallways smelled moldy. Another guest told me they were without electricity and A.C. for a few days. Within 10 minutes of checking in, I immediately checked out and went to make a reservation at the Hilton. Everyone on the island knows this is a bad hotel and said it’s poorly maintained, the owner doesn’t pay he’s fees. If you want to enjoy a nice vacation stay somewhere else.

Excelente custo beneficio

Fui a Curacao para começar um.Cruzeiro pelo Caribe,e resolvi chegar antes para conhecer a cidade. Foi ótima a escolha do Hotel Holiday Bach, pois era perto do Porto, e do centro Histórico para fazer as compras .Excelente Opção

Think twice

Very run down, smell of mild got my throat hurt every morning. Only one restaurant a Denny’s next door, no other restaurants and no bar. No alcool serve anywhere’s on the property, not even at the pool. No Free area shuttle like mentioned in the description. Poor service, no hairdryer. I finally got a nice room with a view after debating for hours.

in need of urgent renovation

This hotel is in need of an URGENT renovation! The a/c works poorly; the furniture in the room is old; the lobby smells like old; the Casino smells even worse....nice area however, but need to close it down and do a complete make-over.

Only pro was the natural private beach.

The room was outdated. Had a horrible smell. It felt unsafe as there were no security camera's on the floors or elevator. It was just horrible and to add to it the customer service was horrendous.

The hotel is old and very dated. The furniture and decorations look like they're from the 80s. They don't have flat screen TVs in the rooms which was shocking. No satellite TV. The plumbing in the second room was leaking. The hallways to the rooms smell musty/moldy. The breakfast was a limited buffet and you could only go once to take food!! Hotel buffets should be all you can eat. The hotel is having financial problems and has not paid its utility bill in months, so the electricity was cut on my 2nd day there for more than 24 hours. I would never stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

2 days power outage with no ac or lights to walk around the hotel or do activities. No cable the entire time and no on sight activities. We mostly stayed away if we could. 99% of staff really do not give a fart about you or conditions at the hotel even the manager for all the properties in the Caribbean. The best thing about this place is the beach and pool, but you don't need to stay here to enjoy it , just get a day pass and bring lots of mesquito repellant for early morning and nights.
