Definitely recommended, a good 4* resort
What a gorgeous property, very stylish and stunning furniture. Great layout and easy to navigate. The suite is stunning, we loved our room.
We did upgrade to the Premium Drinks package, which is only Euro15 per person, per day - definitely worth it as the standard off the shelf alcohol is very entry level.
We also found most of the staff (not all) to be, putting it frank, miserable. Not sure if they are overworked, hate theue jobs or its just becasue of the season and they are exhausted (start of January), but nearly ever member of staff, particularly reception and the bar were just miserable and zero care in customer service. Very disappointing for hotel that is really stunning.
Not every member what terrible, there are a few gems around, particularly the housekeeping who were so accommodating and friendly. Towards the end of our 7 nights, we felt there was a change in staff shift, and the mood picked up....
Additionally, there are many reviews about the standard of food. Yes, this is not a 5* and it is not a la carte, but we found the food fine, and excellent value for money. The main dining room can be loud, the Kokolo (whatever the name is Asian resturant outside) was disappointing, but overall it was good.
Do prepare yourself for loads of families and chilren. This is a very family friendly property and with that, there are loads of kids screaming, crying and all over the place in the dining room.
Overall, would I return - yes. Good value for money and good hotel
