Average, but overpriced for what you get

The place was okay. Wasn't a fan of the shower or bathroom towels. The towels and sheets didn't smell fresh, nor did the room. It just overall felt stale (room, bathroom, linens). The staff was nice though and I loved that the pool and bar were open late.

Clean and a great value

We just stayed here this past weekend. For the price and location it would be hard to beat. Its right across from the beach(no need to try to find parking) and in the middle of everything to do. The room was comfortable and clean. The bed was a bit hard. Parking is tight for large vehicles and the lot was full of "outsiders" when we came in Saturday night. However the manager came out and resolved the issue quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

Week stay

Our stay was decent, rooms were fine, balcony facing the marina was beautiful except our light didn’t work outside & the door was super hard to open. The bathroom was fine other than the tub had mold around the edges. We noticed many things were out of order, the washer was for a few days, the thing to get stuff for the washer/dryer was out of order, the coffee machine was out of order too. The ladies working during our week stay were so so nice, they really did a great job! The housekeeping was great too! The only other downfall is the whole building smelt musty.

Fantastic location for a chill getaway at theBeach

Had a blast at the beach. Came back to the hot tub and relaxed for a while, comfortable bed in the room, exceptionally clean and a good night sleep. Was so great we decided to book a second night and it was equally great. Can’t ask for much more for a good price considering the price of the local competition. Definitely will come back!

DO NOT BE FOOLED - It is a Motel

DO NOT BE FOOLED, this property is little more than a 2-bit motel and nowhere near as grand as the name suggests. We stayed the weekend of the Spring Break so of course prices were stupidly high but even paying normal rates I would have felt ripped-off. Yes, the property is still suffering the effects of hurricanes last year but to be be allocated a room that was not fit for use was beyond the pale. Patio door did not lock (Took two of us to even close it) and the shower leaked through the wall into the room. Washbasin was badly cracked and towels were filthy. We could not be relocated on the first night as the motel was full but were moved to a far better room for the second night. Bearing in mind we paid in excess of $300 per night for a property that had no restaurant, a bar that played music onto the street at excessive volume and you have to wonder how this place stays in business. The only redeeming feature was the Staff were as helpful as they could be in the circumstances

Not what I expected

I booked a Gulf View and got a building to look at. I asked about it and was moved into a new room where we could enjoy the marina. We didn't get maid service any of the 3 nights so we had to hunt our own towels. The bar area isn't open but it was advertised open. The wife and i enjoyed Treasure Island but it wasn't because of where we stayed.

If spring break was a hotel

It would be an ok hotel at 100 a night but not 400. Would be a good party hotel. No breakfast options, no water in the room, the TV didn’t work, smelled like weed ….

Almost a hit

The hotel is clean and recently refurbished due to the Hurricane that did a lot of damage in the area. I understand to a point that because of the hurricane many hotels and motels and even the public beaches are still in a state of disrepair. But the prices that many are charging to me are ridiculous. This Hotel was too pricy for what if offered and the fact that that it was Spring Break and loaded with college people (although they were fairly well behaved) One could not use the jacuzzi or enjoy peace and quiet. The bar on the second floor was out of many products and there was not enough shade to make it comfortable. The bartender was very friendly though. The front desk staff was younger and obviously not versed in the workings of the hotel, friendly though. The back door to the main hall is broken and made it much harder to come and go. All in all, unless the price to the property goes down, we would spend our money at other properties that we have stayed at.

A bit deceptive, just fair

Very average property. Not bad, but not great either. Property is a bit tired feeling. The marketing certainly gave a better impression than reality. Wouldn’t recommend to friends. Hit my credit card for $50 upon arrival but didn’t inform us. When asked I was told it was for “incidentals” which is impossible since there were no amenities. Just didn’t leave a good impression
