I live close to Walnut Creek and love this whole area; it's so quaint but has all the amenities you need, so I frequent this city for much of my shopping, dining, and medical needs.

Very recent growth and construction, good public transit to the rest of the Bay Area, shopping and dining is close, just not a lot of character.

Walnut Creek is a charming town. This hotel is located in the less charming area (our view of was the drive thru for chick-fil-a. We weren't staying here for the ambiance, but it is a quick drive to downtown and the freeway.

Great restaurants and dining all around. Parking at the hotel is $30. I choose to use the self parking which is through Metropolis parking and they charged me a fraction I believe it was around $17 a night.

Grew up here. Lots of traffic and red light runners. Otherwise, still nice.

"Parking is across the street and a little too long of a walk for my liking, but not too bad. We had an ozone generator running in our room upon arrival which can be dangerous to breathe so we had to air out the room for a while. Otherwise a nice stay. The man at the front desk was very helpful and checkin was very fast. Room was small but good. "
"We loved staying at The Handlery! I grew up in SF and I have always wanted to stay there. I was visiting this time. It is an icon hotel in San Francisco, and everyone was so friendly and happy and helpful. We had a fantastic time. Thank you"
