I had the WORST experience with this Marriott. I have stayed and many others and this is my third time in Mexico... I could not believe what I went through. They did not respond to me about the shuttle and once they did they asked me to leave the area where the shuttles usually go to get a shuttle, that never showed. I was then scammed by a cab driver because I'm not familiar with mexican cabs and they blamed me for it. Every other time I have been to Cancun airport, I made sure I had transportation, as I did this time and they ruined my trip.

Nice hotel, staff is friendly, hotel was very clean. The room was big with two double a sofa sleeper and kitchen with everything need it. This hotel is about 25 minutes drive from Cancun. So food and entertaining is far and a little challenging. A taxi charge $40.00 each way. My recommendation is to rent a car. I definitely will visit again.

Adequate hotel for the price
Room was not very clean (hair in different places in the bathroom and elsewhere), food was not very good quality for breakfast. Bed was not very comfortable, but not the worst I have slept in. Reception was friendly and helpful (only spoke Spanish, but hey, we are in Mexico). Facilities were adequate for the price. Shuttle was nice. Beware you have to request shuttle 48 hours in advance from Airport to hotel.

The room was extremely dirty and was not cleaned. The bed had hair, the carpet was extremely dirty, hair behind the sofa. No towels in the room etc.

Well, we expected this property to be bad, but it exceeded this. The property smelled bad all over the place. The bed had hairs, and It was not one hair but several hairs of different kinds. The pillows smelled like someone else slept on them; we ended up just putting our towels and sleeping on top of them. The only reason to stay here is because you need to be super close to the airport, so make sure to bring a sheet or a towel for the bed.
