The room was massive, and had lots of features that made the stay very comfortable. There were USB sockets at the side of the bed, it had top class bedding and the walk in shower was perfect. Only downside was it was very noisy outside. From the people partying outside in the evening to the seagulls partying at sunrise, earplugs were needed!!!

Room was great, recently unfurnished, some marks on bathroom floor, plaster maybe. Staff helpful but due to being refurbished and menu changes, not everything was gelled. Not sure it should have 4star status at the moment.

No hot water for a shower in the evening reported to staff, next morning no hot water for shower reported again same person, shrug of the shoulders then nothing. Wrote to the hotel similar response no offer of compensation for a room with no wash facilities. Will not be back I would suggest you think carefully before booking

This hotel has been refurbished over the last couple of years resulting in beautiful spacious rooms. Food is excellent and breakfast is superb with a really lovely member of staff who is happy to help in anyway. Golf course is just across the way. Only negative is that everyone is waiting for the check in at 3pm and not before. Better and less a stressful for everyone if there was a staggered check-in form 2:45pm. However, really recommend this hotel and so handy to have concerts almost in-house.

Have biked for a day, nothing better than a cup of tea and a hot shower. There was no kettle until one was produced after an hour and the shower remained cold during all our stay! We also looked forward to a nice evening meal but owing to a large golfing party present it apparently was impossible to find a table for 2 and the nearest hotel / restaurant was closed due to a function. This necessitated a long walk to find an evening meal!
