The entire hotel decorating is warm, cozy and beautiful. We enjoyed the breakfast and the lounge room with fireplace. I enjoyed reading one of the books in the lounge while I drank coffee and ate a warm biscuit. Maggie was an outstanding hostess. It felt more like a high end bed and breakfast than a hotel. It was a memorable stay. We took photographs of the decorating because we wanted to remember some of the layers of color and texture.

This is a lovely hotel that feels like a B&B rather than somewhere cold and corporate. My only complaint was that my room had no wardrobe, closet or hangers, and that I could hear people walking overhead in the early morning, but the management promised to take care of these matters. It's a new place and they are sorting out a few kinks. But the location is perfect, the price is good, and it is really very pleasant indeed.

Newly refurbished historic property very well done comfortable rooms with fireplace walking distance to everything you need historic sites food transportation close to Harvard Square and nice museums. Everything was amazing, from the communication days before our stay all the way to the very end and the checkout process. It was exactly what we were looking for - just a night out and a beautiful setting. The room was immaculate, the staff was warm and friendly, and the property is close to everything. Also everything from the linens to the towels and the hallways smells absolutely delicious and the books are just a fantastic extra in your room. Thank you!
