The shared courtyard area is brimming with tropical plants and makes for a beautiful welcoming space and a delightful place to have breakfast. The staff are so kind, friendly and helpful. I felt like part of their family.

1. The bed of the room I stayed in was not good, its actually damaged and is an old mattress 2. The shower needs fixing on how much water comes out of the shower it seems to be malfunctioning 3. The room was clean however there were no new bedding every morning, and also the bed was of poor quality 4. I tried to communicate to the owner or someone for assistance before checking in and there was no response, even on whatsapp.

Hotellet ligger godt i Stone Town og selve værelset er rigtig og hyggeligt, med en fin balkon man kan sidde på. Lidt kaffe eller mulighed for at købe en kold øl, eller glas vin kunne have gjort en afslappende stund på balkonen perfekt. Der manglede sæbe på badeværelset og der kom næsten ingen vand ud af bruseren. Det var derfor meget svært at tage et ordentligt brusebad. Vedligeholdelsesstanden og bad og toilet kunne være bedre. Der er en del støj fra gaden og flagermus der bor i det nærliggende træer, så tag hørepropper med. Personalet var generelt meget venligt og hjælpsomt.

In Stone Town, but away from the hustle and bustle

Difficult to find, but once you do find it you'll be pleasantly surprised. Staff are nice and helpful, there's a nice garden-type atmosphere in the common area, and the room was clean and spotless. Breakfast was quite delicious, with a general mix of an omlette, crepes, fruit and/or vegetables; it does change if you stay more than a day. A nice place to stay if you can work remote. No TVs in the rooms for those who care.
