Sharing the details I look for in reviews. Water pressure: a step above good. Room amenities: comfy couch, fridge, outlets next to bed. Cleanliness: I didn’t get the ick other than in the restroom because it smelled like old pee. Beds were clean, towels were crisp, couch was clean. No mildew smell anywhere (sometimes showers stink or you can smell wet rag) Overall, we loved it and will absolutely be back at some point. The property is beautiful.

We hosted our annual girls trip here and we had an amazing time at Petit Cowboy! We didn’t want to leave. It’s a great location. Our river float was so easy. They picked us up at the hotel entrance and dropped us off at our front door. The pool and property are so cute! The proximity to food and drinks from the pool was as convenient as it could possibly be. Drinks and food were tasty. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The rooms are so clean and very cute! We did have 3 girls in our 2 queen room, our ONLY complaint was there is no full body mirror. It was difficult to get 3 women ready with the one tiny mirror in the bathroom. We will definitely be back next year.

Loved our stay at Petit Cowboy. The room was awesome, super clean, really cute, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the design. The whole property has a great vibe. The pool is huge and having a shallow area for the kids made it even better. Being right along the river just makes it feel kind of magical. We’ll definitely be back.

Stayed here with a few friends and had an awesome time! There’s so much to do on the property between the two pools, pickleball court, and easy access to the river, we basically didn't leave for 2 days. It’s also super close to New Braunfels, which was convenient. The room renovations were really well done and thoughtful, and overall it felt like great value for what you get. Booked last minute while driving through New Braunfels and absolutely loved my stay at Petit Cowboy! The property was recently renovated and sits right along the river, really cute setup. My cabin was clean, spacious, and really well-designed. The staff was super friendly, and the self check-in made everything easy. They’ve also got two large pools and a pickleball court, which was a great bonus. Definitely planning to come back :)

Our Anniversary trip was perfect thanks to the friendly staff!! Everyone from checking in, to the twin brothers serving drinks by the pool, bartender, cleaning staff. Even the man cleaning the pool that took time to show the kids a frog that he got out from the filter. We stayed at Petit Cowboy this past weekend and had a great experience. The rooms had a fun retro-chic vibe with thoughtful design details that made the space feel unique and inviting. Everything was spotless when we arrived, and the little touches, from the fresh towels and toiletries to the appliances and pre-filled ice tray, made us feel right at home. The pool and bar area were beautiful and relaxing, making it easy to unwind. The check-in area also has a fun, cozy atmosphere with a pool table and photo booth, which was a nice touch. We especially enjoyed the outdoor patio overlooking the river. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and hassle-free. We arrived before check-in time, and the staff was kind enough to let us park on the property while we took an Uber to float the river. That extra hospitality was greatly appreciated. We booked Petit Cowboy for a long weekend and it was absolutely perfect! The A-frame lodging was super cute, the bedding was insanely comfortable, and the location was 10/10! Super close to Schlitterbahn, quiet and woodsy. We brought our pups with us for our stay and they loved every minute. Great space for running and playing, easy access to the Comal River right on property for swimming, they enjoyed their stay just as much as we did! We absolutely will be back.
