I think the property just needs some tender loving care. It can be an amazing place if it was maintained and looked after

The staff were really sweet but they should not try and run a place for social services and homeless people and ask these poor people to shift out for visiting tourists. What’s worse is the tourists have rooms with the homeless people’s personal belongings in the drawers and cupboard and food plus their family photos on the wall. All too sad 😔 why is wotif promoting this - it’s not a regular motel Go Else’s

If you're looking for a budget room just to sleep in, this is for you. Not suitable if you're going to spend any additional time in the room.

A bit run down, could hear every step the guests took upstairs. But clean and tidy.

Whilst we found the unit to be a bit outdated, it was tidy, and clean. Cleaning staff were great. Our bed was always made on our return to the unit. The owner Mrs/Mz was very affable and accommodating with our requests. Final one being breakfast on Friday. A beautiful meal of scrambled eggs, tomato, toast and chirazo sausgage. Over all, a great stay.

Receptionist was friendly and helpful, room was tidy and clean enough, close to Pukekura Park but the condition of some of the other rooms wasnt good, boarded up doors that had been broken, not very inviting. Was ok for one night but probably wouldn't stay again.
