I stayed in room 2 at the Phyllis Court Club the night before the start of Henley Royal Regatta. Room 2 overlooks the finish line of the regatta course. Luckily, it had cooled down from earlier in the week, as the rooms themselves are not air conditioned. I had a great full English breakfast in the Orangerie (a greenhouse dining room overlooking the river) the next morning. The bath is very well fitted, and the mattress is quite comfortable. We were so happy to book a family room (for couple with 2 kids) the day of our arrival into Oxford. The room was spacious and the AC was a welcomed relief with the heatwave. Very clean and spacious. The neighborhood is also delightful. The walk into the city center was beautiful. Definitely recommend!

Amazing hotel with some very nice touches. The US socket in the room was very helpful. The breakfast was top rate - better than most US hotels. Such a perfect place for our first couple days of our trip to London.

I loved this hotel. Excellent service. Perfectly located. Lovely people. The room was perfect and the food at the restaurant was great! I really wished I had more time to stay longer and enjoy the spa and more time on Eaton and Windsor.

The hotel a five minutes' walk from Terminal 4 departures through an enclosed walkway. Since Terminal 5 was built, the location is less busy, and the room pricing is more reasonable. Standards remain high and there is free transport to and from Terminal 4 from the other terminals.

If I could give the staff ten stars I would. They could not have been better. I would have stayed a month longer if I could have. I highly recommend this particular hotel. The food was fantastic, the staff was so gracious and accommodating. Wonderful hotel.

For a thorough exploration of the town’s rich landmarks, history, and culture—including rowing, bars, friendly people, river views, museums, monuments, dining experiences, festivals, small-town charm, and countryside—consider staying for at least 2 to 3 days. This affordable trip offers an ideal opportunity to immerse yourself in the town's cultural and historical attractions without breaking the bank.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com offers a variety of options to save on your Henley-on-Thames getaway. You may discover special rates by checking the Dealsopens in new window section and find reduced prices near your travel date in the Last-Minute Deals area. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app lets you compare hotel prices and amenities, so if rooms become available or rates drop, you're more likely to see a great opportunity to book your trip.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could save you money on your stay in a Henley-on-Thames hotel. For those seeking a unique experience, boutique hotels might offer a more personalized atmosphere and potentially better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your selected dates is above or below average, and if it's on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
Consider your location: Staying near major attractions or in the heart of a city can offer convenience but usually comes with a higher price tag. For more affordable rates, consider hotels in less central neighborhoods, striking a balance between cost and access to the places you plan to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located further out, which are more likely to be budget-friendly and provide a more authentic experience.
