Beautiful hotel, with superb service (with one exception). The physical beauty of this hotel brings the beauty of the sandstone exteriors to life with interiors which are more than a match. The staff revel in all the material the hotel designers and resident historian and forager have given them to play with. Breakfast and dinner in the Brasserie are superb and the rooms are very large and lush. The hotel is still ramping up and keeping up the personal level of service will be a challenge but...

Perfect location in Sydney for my honeymoon! We received a free room upgrade and once staff learned it was out honeymoon they surprised us with a free bottle of champagne and chilled glasses right at our door. We had a beautiful view on the top floor, and the bathroom was clean. We would absolutely stay here again.

My friend and I stayed at the Song Hotel while we were visiting Sydney and we loved it! It was in a great location, right near a subway station and bus stops (and a quick ride from the airport). It was also easy to walk to nearby neighborhoods that had lots of restaurants and bars. The breakfast buffet was amazing every morning, and the dinners we had at the hotel restaurant were awesome. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very welcoming and kind. We would highly recommend!

The Grace is a beautiful hotel within easy walking distance to Sydney CBD. The rooms were large and updated. Our only disappointment was that when we arrived late morning although the room was ready, they wanted to charge us$50.00 to check in early.

The property, amenities, and staff were all first-rate. Our room, a one-bedroom apartment, really, was spacious and comfortable; we made good use of the kitchen and washer/dryer in our suite and enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, and pool available on the premises. We took advantage of the many restaurants, shops, and services within a few minutes walk from the lobby, and made good use of the subway just a little further on for our exploration of downtown Sydney. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Meriton (Campbell) in September 2017.
Taking the train from the International Airport terminal to Central Station was quick and easy. We got in at 7:30PM so the train was rather empty. Getting an Opal card at the airport for the train was quick and easy as well. Once at Central Station finding Pitt street was a little confusing, but once I figured out where we were, it was a quick 5-10 min walk to the hotel.
At the hotel we were greeted by Reese who was really pleasant...

The staff was exceptional!!! They were extremely helpful and friendly. I travel a lot and I would rate the staff at this hotel the best I have ever experienced. My son and I traveled from the USA and were not familiar with the area and the reception staff went way beyond expectations to help us. The breakfast staff(2 sisters) were awesome! They were constantly replacing food and drink items as needed and always available. Wish we had this excellent service in the USA!

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Sydney
Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Sydney is from May to July when hotel prices are generally lower. To fully immerse yourself in the city's rich history and culture, a stay of at least 3 to 4 days is recommended. This duration allows you to explore significant landmarks and cultural attractions, such as the iconic Sydney Opera House, vibrant shopping districts, beautiful gardens, stunning architecture, engaging art galleries, scenic ferry rides, delightful dining experiences, and informative museums. Visiting during this period offers great value for money, making it an excellent choice for travelers on a budget.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover enticing last-minute deals for hotels in Sydney, begin by exploring the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates as your travel date approaches. Additionally, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you could find opportunities for great savings. Utilize the Smart Shopping tool available in the app to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you make informed choices. This way, if rooms become available or prices drop, you'll be among the first to know and can easily book your getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so having some flexibility with your travel dates may help you find a more affordable stay in a Sydney hotel. If you're interested in distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalized experience and can sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price happens to be on the higher end, we’ll recommend alternative dates that could potentially lead to better savings.
Consider your location: Hotels near the city center usually cost more, but thanks to Sydney's excellent public transportation, you might find a more affordable independent hotel further out that’s still well connected. For those interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighborhoods or even lesser-known nearby cities, there is often excellent value for money. Choosing these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
