My top values in a property are cleanliness, a nice shower, comfortable bed. This one hit all of those. We stayed 3 nights for a Royals baseball game and it was about 15 minutes from the stadium. Highly recommend. Has a beautiful exterior and interior, loved that we got to stay in a historical building with tasteful modern choices. The in room lighting was nice. Soft towels and a great bed. When I interacted with anyone, from front desk to custodial staff, they all look like they truly enjoy their job and always smile. The valet staff always opens the door for you when you exit the property. Comfortable walk to Kansas City Taco Co, a must try!!

Had a wonderful weekend stay at the AC Hotel. The hotel is honestly in a great location, you can easily walk to the Power and Light and the River Market area within 10 minutes, and a two block walk to the street car. The hotel was clean and beautiful. We were unknowingly there during ComicCon, so the hotel was really busy. However, the staff kept up well with the traffic and the property was spotless! We will for sure being staying again.

The hotel overall was a very good experience. Rooms were a bit small, but very clean and so were the beds which were pretty firm but not hard. The only thing that I didn't like about the room was the sliding glass frosted door for bathroom. If I was in a single room by myself I wouldn't mind it so much, but being in a twin bed room with someone else was kind of werid. The staff was more or less nice and accommodating. I saw in the reviews before booking this hotel that a few people were saying the staff was kind of rude, but I realize it's just the culture in kanasa city. There were a lot of locals I met that had the same kind of edge to them, not really mean but not very welcoming either. Especially compared to other states like Oklahoma or Arkansas whose people are usually very open and friendly to outsiders. The hotel did charge me $5 twice for some reason, which I think was for a tissue box and trash liners that I asked the front desk for. I just wish they would have told me a head of time I would have bought my own supplies somewhere else, but it's not a big deal. I wish the hotel.com or AC would tell you that velvet parking is a mandatory thing and not "optional" unless you want to park your car 3 blocks away. I came to KC to see a concert which was only a 10 min walk from the AC. We had a great time, but just a warning the streets get very shady at night. Be aware of your surroundings and be prepared for homeless people to ask for money. Stay in groups if you can
