A day in Milan

We arrived a couple of hours before the check in,expecting to be able to store our bags but hoping to be able to check in. The clerk at the desk accommodated us as the room was room was ready. He gave us a map of Milan, sold us tickets for the bus/metro and explained how to go to downtown Milan. Instructions were easy to follow. We picked this hotel as it was fairly close to the the Central Bus station and we had a very early bus to catch the next day.I mentioned that as we had such an early bus the next day, that we would probably miss breakfast and he said that we could come down 15 minutes earlier BEFORE official opening, WOW!, most accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The location was not central but for us, it was convenient as it was close to the bus station. Most importantly, the staff was very accommodating, and friendly and seemed to care about their guests. That's important when booking a hotel room.

A presto
