This seemed like one of the more upscale hotels in El Calafate. The grounds were very pretty, the room was an adequate size and very clean, personnel were very friendly and helpful and the dining room food (breakfast) was very good. Everything was great about the hotel except the restaurant (the one that serves dinner). The food was mediocre, way overpriced, and really, really terrible service. Besides that, I highly recommend this hotel. The massage service at the spa was great and priced very reasonably. The general level of service all-around was good. Excellent buffet breakfast each morning was included and started at 6:30 AM which is great for those with a morning pick-up for excursions. I'd definitely return here and do recommend it, just don't eat dinner at the hotel, it is right in the center of town anyways with plenty of restaurants around.
