Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Staff were pleasant. There was a good selection on offer for breakfast, including fresh fruit and yoghurt and Danish pastries.

We stay here every year for 3 nights. It has always felt welcoming, with helpful reception staff - especially Philippa, who makes us feel at home! We love where it is situated on The Leas, so easy to walk to Sandgate, into town or down to the harbour. A perfect hotel!

We managed to get a parking space in the square outside the hotel which is not always easy. There is a nearby underground car park that serves the Lees cliff theatre that can also be used but we have not needed to yet. The 20% early dining offer at the hotel's MPW restaurant makes for a good value dinner bed and breakfast mini break.

Brilliant location, fab room with quirky uneven floors and great sea view. One of the towels was badly stained, which was a bit of a shock. Lift is tiny! and breakfast okay, staff taking on the Marco Pierre White attitude in the restaurant a bit too much, we got ushered into breakfast by a finger rather than being spoken to, but over all, really pleased with the hotel.

Fabulous Hotel. Great location. Parking limited so park jn Sandgate Carpark as £12 for 24 hours. Harbour Arm is walkable and great to visit. Lots of eateries. Breakfast lovely - good choice and the Breakfast Room Manager is a real character & professional as are all the employees.

We stayed for one night. The room was fine, just like on the pictures when booking, and we had a good night sleep. Parking is at the street, but during our stay there was enough space. I think parking, if paid through the hotel, was about 8,50gbp a day. Would definately stay here again next time.

The room was lovely and clean, with good air con! Staff were mostly excellent, just the staff member at the desk on our last day was quite distracted and not as friendly when we were collecting our bags. Excellent choice for a staycation, with lots to see within walking distance.

The hotel reception staff were very welcoming on our arrival. Our room was very clean and had air conditioning, a wardrobe with plenty of hangers, desk, two chairs and a small table as well as bedside tables. The lighting was good with various settings. A lovely shower room with rainfall and handheld showers and fluffy towels, hand wash and lotion by the basin as well as an electric toothbrush/ shaver charger. In the shower cubicle body wash, shampoo and conditioner were provided, all the products are suitable for vegans to use. The breakfast was very good with both continental and cooked food, vegan and gluten free options and lovely coffee/tea and fruit juices. The waiting staff were very attentive and polite. We stayed 2 nights here and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely clean room bathroom tiny for a double room,air-conditioning a nice bonus,no plug near tea facilities? Iron on top shelf hard to reach,fridge nice bonus shame no fresh milk .(called twice room service no reply ended up going to bar to ask for some and collect a drink ). Breakfast buffet style good variety but hot food just warm also new coffee machine had to queue hence food colder need a couple of machines in there at least.Hotel good location and loved the zig zag path down to beach.

I would say it was ok? Reception nice and staff nice and all clean, room felt very out dated and so small despite us upgrading? Husband has a bad neck because the pillows were just not great. Wouldn’t rush back, we did have a lovely time in Folkestone though overall but expected a bit more at the price we paid.
