Just OK

The location is very convenient and the staff is very kind. However, the check in process was a bit chaotic. The staff member we checked in with was new and was unaware of where rooms were located, so we were misdirected to where our room was. He was able to correct that, but 2 days later we found out we were not checked in correctly and came back to find out we were locked out of our room. After a long day outside, this was incredibly frustrating and time consuming. We eventually were let back in, but it took about 30 minutes because the front desk was busy with other guests and the security team was nowhere to be found. There seems to be some training and staffing issues, but otherwise this was a fine stay.

Fun ladies weekend getaway.

When we arrived staff were very friendly. Once we got to the room the balcony overlooked the garage and there was a very dirty chair in the room. We asked to be moved and they were very kind and moved us to a much nicer room. Hotel is in a great location to everything which was great. The bonus to this hotel is May Baileys bar. What a gem! We had our nightcap there every night and music was always fantastic. No surprise, it is NOLA after all. Vibe in there was fantastic! If I stayed again it would be for May Baileys and the location.

New Orleans Trip

Our stay at this hotel was ok. The main perk was that we were close to Bourbon Street and you could walk to most places without having to drive everywhere. The safe and alarm clock in our room were both inoperable and did not work at all. We called the front desk a few times and ultimately had to walk up there since no one would answer when we needed something. With that said, the room itself was clean and our stay was still comfortable overall. Be warned though that parking at this hotel is not free as it costs $50/night which was also a little bit of a deterrent for us to book there in the future. Additionally, the floors in the room are not fully set as certain areas have a little bit of give when you walk around in the room, but it could just be due to the hotel being older and needing a little bit of maintenance. The refrigerator is also small, so if you have leftovers from restaurants nearby, you will be limited for what you can keep in there during your stay. I’d only recommend staying here solely if you need a hotel close to Bourbon Street.

Perfect Location with Great Staff!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here and thought it was the perfect location for being just a block away or so from Bourbon Street and all the great places to eat. I found our room location to be quiet. I felt like the staff there was super nice and helpful from valet to front desk. I would say it could use a little updating but really for the price and location this is a great hotel to stay at. We would definitely stay here again.

A great stay. A few bumps in the road. But the general manager & regional manager addressed the issues promptly! A very comfortable & cool place to stay! Great location(gives you an old New Orleans feel with modern conveniences). Pool is fantastic. The hotel bar is incredible: great bartenders, excellent drinks & good local live music! I was sad to leave!

Great Location in New Orleans

You can't really beat a room that's a block and a half away from Bourbon St. I had a basic double hotel room. No fancy decor. We did not have cable TV, and maintenance could not fix it. That was my only issue except for occasionally loud people next door at 2 am. I would stay again for the location.
