Great location! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Many restraints to walk to. The spa was very relaxing and was really enjoyable as it looked over the ocean. Our room was basic but the view of the beach was spectacular! I was going to decide between this hotel and Sheraton and because of the location of the Sheraton costa Galman’s is hands down a better deal. I would reccomens this hotel to anyone staying in mar del plata .

The hotel is located in a pipular surf area with many resorts and restaurants. We were impressed with the good service, friendly helpful staff and our room was spacious and comfortable. Wonderful breakfast. We can definately recommend Hotel Costa Galana!

Good location, great pool, amazing staff.
Costa Galana is in a great location across from a busy beach and two blocks from a busy shopping/dining street. I was given a room upgrade and the service was impeccable. Just a note, English isn't commonly spoken and I wish I spoke better Spanish. The pool is great and there is food/bar service with a limited menu. It has a nice gym. I am sure the hotel was the best in the area when it was last renovated. If you are visiting Mar del Plata, I would recommend this hotel for a convenient safe place to stay.

Nice hotel, great service.
Great service, the attention is superb. Mar del Plata is a city that lost its magic... last time I was in town was back in the late 80's and it seems that a bomb was thrown at it... so it was actually very depressing being there, the city I mean... The hotel per se was very pleasant, its staff was very accommodating and the place was great as a whole... food is very good.

Hotel is run down and need of repair. As hard as the staff tries, English is not spoken. There are no hotel/beach instructions available in the rooms. The rooms are very clean but extremely small. The location is ideal hence why we stayed.
