We were there for basketball. The university was close by and easy to get to with plenty of parking. It's close to OKC and the National Memorial there should not be missed.

Excellent
Norman is a great little town. Obviously it centers around visits to the University, but it has everything you would need for a small town; shopping, eateries, and entertainment. Not sure what the draw would be if not for the University.

If you have Celiac disease like I do, DO NOT MISS breakfast at Neighborhood Jam, just a couple of miles from the Thunderbird. Once you've been there, you'll go back again and again and again and again.....

My first trip 3-4 weeks ago just for medical appointments was great! 3 weeks later, more expensive for hotel- no insurance or disability. Traffic can be bad late in the day. Better for Monday afternoon appointments & less traffic.
"Hotel stay was wonderful and we were pleasantly surprised by all great amenities => full-on breakfast buffet, big pool, big gym and even gymnasium, spacious lobby...etc.
Hotel is a few miles away to OU and major highway."
"Always met by their courteous staff starting with valet and concierge Mr. Gary!! Check in is easy and the hotel has everything you need in it. Centrally located in OKC to all the hot spots to eat in Mid and Bricktown!!! "
"We had the best time at the Hampton! Our kids age 5 and 7 especially enjoyed the pool with all its fun extras! The breakfast both mornings we were there was very good, plenty of variety and good choices.
We will definitely be coming back for another stay! "
"The overall stay was amazing. The social somehouse restaurant was our favorite. The indoor water park was amazing so many slides, wave pool, restaurants and bar in them. The only thing was that none of the staff really knew anything "
"A bit over relient on technology parking and laundry where exclusively QR code driven which convenient for the propertymay not br convenient for a guest using cash
