Redmond is decent place, there is good dining there, a few other towns/cities close by. There is lots to do in the area when it comes to sightseeing, hiking, winter and summer activities. There is also some great bands that come through Redmond.

Unless you live there, as someone traveling through the town, there's not a whole lot to do there.

People are nice in the Redmond/Bend area. Lots of places to eat in both cities.
"This is an outdoor adventure hotel.. it's set in beautiful surroundings next to a national park
There are walking trails into the park, and they rent both electric bikes or regular bikes.
In the winter they are very close to Mt Bachelor , so any winter sport is acceptable as well.
The cute cabins are very clean and have hammocks so extra people can stay! All in all, i will definitely stay here again!"
"A little run down looking on outside but inside has been updated. Comfortable bed and sheets. Unfortunately sheets on one of beds seemed a little dirty. They brought new sheets which I had to change myself. Good for the price. Basic breakfast with a couple cereals and fruits and boiled eggs, oatmeal and muffins options."
