Excellent comfortable accommodation
I've stayed at Chameleon Lodge before and keep going back. I have not been disappointed. The hosts Jake and Sandy are friendly and full of knowledge and will gladly give you many ideas on where to go and things to do

Fabulous comfortable accomodation near the Beach.
Let me start with the small things that impressed me: Received a welcome message on my mobile phone giving me instructions how to get in to the premises when arriving.  Fresh milk in the fridge Top sheet on the Queen bed Coffee,tea and sugar provided Pub on premises Barbecue grid available Swimming pool on the premises Close to the beach Safe and secure Free secure parking  The room was superb.  Beds were comfortable ceiling fans were adequate. Microwave worked well. Spotlessly clean and comfortable accommodation with full DSTV bouquet in the Cottage.  Comfortably sleeps 4.

Amazing
The location of the hotel was good, as it was only about a 5 min walk to the beach, the lodger was brilliant, so friendly and polite, made you feel like your the only person in the world. Excellent just excellent. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Had an amazing stay, thank you!

Nicht so toll, wie beschrieben
Wegen einer nicht näher beschriebenen " inconvenience" wurden wir in die umgebaute Garage, genannt " cottage" verfrachtet. Die netten Appartments mit Dachterasse standen leer. Da die Heizkörper wie Flachbild-TV an der Wand hingen und der Boden gefliesst ist, sind wir halb erfroren. Vor jedem der Fenster ist Sicht auf das 3m entfernte Haupthaus. Also lässt man die Vorhänge besser zu. Die Waschmaschine ist direkt hinter dem Kopfende des "Elterschlafzimmer" und ab 8.00 wird Krach gemacht. Insgesamt sehr hellhörig. Kein WiFi, da die Wände zu dick seien ... Und ohne Auto und Navi ist man aufgeschmissen. Lodge steht mitten in einem Meer von kleinen Häusern mit kleinen Gärten. Keine Anhaltspunkte. Meer mit Auto ca. 5 Min. , nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit ca. 10-15 Min. entfernt. Restaurants ebenfalls weit weg. Ort ist unschön. Würde nicht mehr dirthin gehen. Eher Muizenberg oder Stellenbosch. Kochgelegenheit sehr unpraktisch, v. a. nicht für 4 Personen geeignet. Ausser man "kocht" mit der kleinen Microwelle. Im Sommer viell. besser, da man vor der "Garage" und seinem Auto sitzen und grillen kann. Es gibt sicher bessere Unterkünfte in der Gegend.
