The worst place I've ever stayed

My family and I arrived at the hotel and could wait to go and explore the area, it was a short walk to the beach which was great my issue are with the cleanliness of the room there was a chicken bone behind the double bed a fly that has been dead for a while on the wall right next to the room the towels were stained and marked even the clean ones the cleaner that I asked to service the room didn't clean the room just made the beds without changing the sheets or even clean the bathroom the shower pressure was terrible and trying to regulate the shower to have a moderately warm shower was a challenge the pool area wasn't cleaned and the games room they had was in a terrible state nothing for the younger children and to be charged £9.50 for adult breakfast was horrible as the food wasn't edilbe £6 for a child breakfast was also horrible my family and opted to go and find our own breakfast the kettle was dirty and black on the inside so we didn't use anything other than the cups which we had to wash ourselves the place needs to be looked and again and cleaned better before I even consider coming back. I'm not able to upload the photos.

This older hotel is a well maintained part of the Laguna family organization which includes travel buses and villas in other locations. Dining facilities on site and an indoor pool in a separate building and ample parking.

A Good Hotel and Good Location with Friendly Staff

I stayed one night at the Laguna Hotel, Bournemouth. The staff were very friendly and the hotel has a good location for taking advantage of walks in Bournemouth. There are pretty gardens to view on the wall into the town and beautiful beach. The hotel has an indoor pool that also looks good, but I did not use this pool and spa facilities. Breakfast was very good and most enjoyable.

Good family hotel

The hotel is a little dated but is clean and comfortable. Having an indoor swimming pool is a real plus for days when the weather rules out a dip in the sea. Room service came every day. Overall excellent value for money and would stay here again when visiting Bournemouth

Noisy but cheap and cheerful

A bus full of people turned up at midnight and woke us- could hear everything they did above us and the bathroom door next to us. Pool and parking a nice touch and was relatively cheap for location but we didn’t have a good nights sleep

The Laguna hotel bournemouth

We stayed on 12th February 2025 in room 35. The hotel is very traditional. The lady at check-in was friendly helpful and kind. The hotel has a swimming pool which was lovely and warm. The room and shower room were clean. Free parking on site a huge bonus. Breakfast was delicious everything cooked perfectly. It was in a huge traditional staffed dining room. The Laguna is about five minutes stroll to Bournemouth town centre through two underpasses. Location brilliant for the town centre. We would definitely stay again. Its old fashioned quirky and we loved it. Good value too.
