Nos ha gustado la estancia. Está muy bien ubicado, en la Gran Vía. Es cierto que las habitaciones son un poco ruidosas por la falta de aislamiento acústico en las habitaciones, pero teníamos todo lo que necesitábamos para una estancia de una noche.

When we arrived at the hotel at 15:15, we were informed that our room was not ready despite the advertised 15:00 check-in time. We returned at 16:30, only to find that the room was still not prepared. As a result, we were offered a downgraded room, which we accepted to avoid further delay. The room provided was acceptable in terms of comfort; however, there was a significant plumbing issue. Every time we used the shower, water seeped through the floor, flooding the entire room. When we reported this to the receptionist, we were told nothing could be done, so we placed towels on the floor to manage the situation. While the stay had its positive aspects, these issues left us feeling that the experience did not fully meet expectations.

Conveniently located
I recently stayed at Smartr Gran Vía 47 in Madrid, and overall, it was a good experience! The room had a private terrace which was really cool. And even with the hustle and bustle of gran vía right below, it was still really quiet in the room. Also the location is really central to shopping. Restaurants and nightlife which made it very convenient. That said, there were a few minor drawbacks. The bathroom was on the smaller side, and the bathtub was quite tiny, which might not suit everyone. Additionally, it took a while for the hot water to heat up, but once it did, it was fine. Despite these small issues, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend Smartr Gran Vía 47 to anyone looking for a centrally located, comfortable place. I’d definitely stay here again!

Bom hotel, sem expectativas
Localização perfeita, para fazer tudo a pé. Fiquei num quarto com terraço, o espaço era ótimo, porém precisa de uma renovada, pisos do chão problematicos, porta do banheiro emperrando, armários velhos. E não há serviço de arrumação diária, então bom se atentar para não fazer muita sujeira. Mas no geral cumpriu o que prometeu, especialmente te pela localização.

The location is great and very close to shopping and metro and restaurants and tourist attractions. The hotel itself is a very different story The bathroom is so tiny you can’t sit on the toilet unless you sit sideways. The hot water ran out every evening and on the first night I told them no hot water in the room and their response was we will call maintenance and in the morning I had hot water but the same thing happened at night every single night. They could’ve said the situation is like this every night but they played dumb of course. One of the two rooms I booked had a sewage smell and they didn’t do anything about it. You get only one cleaning for every six night stay and if you want more you have to pay for it. You have to ask them for towels every day because they only put two towels in the room No plug next to the bed to charge your phone. The one good thing about them is how clean it was. They had a clean room. They call it apartment but don’t fall for that. No coffee maker in the room and no coffee in the lobby either. The room was so hot at night and the controller for the AC definitely did not work I can’t imagine this room in the Madrid summers. I had to open the bedroom window to be able to sleep and with that came all the street noises of course.

Great place to stay for affordable price
Great place to stay esp so because I booked on short notice. It’s located in a Main Street in Madrid and in the middle of all the action but my room was in the rear so I didn’t hear street noise. Clean and comfortable. Helpful staff. The walls are kind of thin so I heard the guests next door talking and there was periodic noise from guests walking in the hallways but it was fine.

A fuir à tout prix !
A fuir !!! Rien ne correspond à la description !!! Logement pas du tout insonorisé (contrairement à ce qui est écrit). On entendait les appartements plus loin dans l'étage prendre leur douche et tirer la chasse d'eau ! Cuisine sans table ni chaise pour pouvoir manger (on mange sur le lit ?!!!), 30€ de supplément pour le chien pour ne même pas avoir de panier ni de gamelle (et 50€ de caution supplémentaire, histoire d'en rajouter). Lit petit, oreillers minuscules et tout fins, une seule table de nuit... Heureusement que c'était un studio pour 2 personnes. En guise de douche, nous avons eu le droit à une baignoire sabot digne des années 1960... Bref, à part l'emplacement, rien ne va et c'est une véritable arnaque !

Unterkunft sehr zentral gelegen!! Top!! Räume sehr klein und abgewohnt, wir hatten 2x Studio gebucht mit zusätzlichen Bett aber nur ein „Doppelbett“ vorgefunden. Auf Nachfrage hieß es: das Bett heißt bzw ist das Sofabett… Das Frühstück war paar Häuser weiter dafür top in einer schönen Skybar mit spektakulären Sicht auf die Stadt!! Frühstück war sehr lecker und die Bedienung sehr sehr nett! Das Hotel würde ich nicht nochmal buchen, da es einfach sehr alt, klein und abgewohnt ist. Da gibt es in der Preisklasse bestimmt bessere. Dennoch war alles für 6 Nächte ok. Hier möchte ich das Frühstück nochmal hervorheben und die netten Mitarbeiter in beiden Gebäuden!!!

Direkt zwischen 2 Metrostationen gelegen ( Santo Domingo und Callao) und neben dem Athletico Madrid Store . Alles was man braucht ist fußläufig erreichbar. Plaza Mayor zur Fuß ca 10 min .
