We stayed at the hotel for 8 nights and absolutely loved it! Although it's located on a busy street, our room was very quiet thanks to the noise-cancelling windows and electric shutters. Both the room and bathroom were spotless and well-stocked with everything we needed, including shaving and dental kits, shower caps, and a variety of cute little bottles of toiletries. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the city. We’ll definitely...

It was a bit strange that all communications took place by messaging and I never spoke to let alone met a human, but I did get my entry codes and it all worked out fine. Very clean and comfy in a great location.

I am a fan of Barcelo hotels but not of this one, i felt a little disappointed for the cost of the stay, but being in Madrid explained why is such this way. I uber most of the time and cost varies depending on time of the day but with a big increment for busy hours, the room was comfortable and quiet we had street view. Later in my stay i discovered that the metro stationPlaza Castilla, was in walking distance from there but I can’t say much because did not ride the it. There are few options...

As noted in other reviews this hotel is in a residential area which equates to a quiet and secure stay. Very attentive and helpful staff at all levels. We stayed here at the beginning of our stay and then again tens days later prior to leaving for a total of five nights. Both times were wonderful. The breakfast is expansive and complete. "Fresh" squeezed orange juice daily. Complimentary beer, wine, sandwiches, small salads, coffee and tea all day. An honor liqueur bar. Very clean and well...

Hotel and staff are nice. The only quirk is that it requires taking two separate elevators in different parts of the building to get to your room, but no huge deal. Staff and amenities are nice. Breakfast is amazing and definitely worth the added cost. My wife got pregnant here, so 10/10 recommended the bed.

The breakfast is GREAT with very nice setting and excellent varieties. Very happy with our stay.

This hotel is located in Salamanca, which is definitely an upscale area. Very high end shopping and an abundance of restaurants nearby. About a 20-25 minute walk to the Prado, Reina Sophia, and Thyssen museums. A great walk, don't bother with the bus or Metro. Definitely would stay again.

Front desk was amazing-- they made our stay really special by accommodating our early checkin and taking care of all of our needs.
Rooftop bar was also great!
Only negative feedback is that the room could have been cleaner (as there were some bits of broken glass on the floor near our mini bar)

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Madrid
Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Madrid is during January, February, and August, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For a thorough exploration of the city's historic landmarks, cultural sites, and architectural wonders, a stay of at least 3 to 4 days is recommended. This budget-friendly trip allows you to enjoy a variety of attractions, including renowned museums, impressive monuments, vibrant theaters, and charming cafes. Visiting during these months not only offers great value for money but also the possibility that prices may drop even further, making it an ideal time for those traveling on a budget.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com offers a range of hotel deals for your trip to Madrid. You may discover discounted rates by checking the Dealsopens in new window section, and if you're looking for last-minute options, the Last-Minute Deals area could reveal opportunities close to your travel dates. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app lets you compare hotel prices and amenities, so you're more likely to see when rooms become available or prices drop, keeping you updated on potential savings.
Be flexible with dates: Hotel prices can fluctuate based on factors like the location, star rating, and the time of year. Being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal on your hotel stay in Madrid. If you're in search of something special, boutique hotels can provide a more personalized experience and sometimes offer more value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price leans towards the higher end, we can suggest alternative dates that might be more budget-friendly to help you uncover a great option.
Consider your location: Hotels near the city center usually tend to be pricier, but thanks to Madrid's outstanding public transportation system, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel located further out that still has great connectivity. If you're interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighborhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, you can often find excellent value for your money. Opting for these alternative spots could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
