We stay there for 6 days. Breakfast was included at a restaurant in the same street. Every morning there was the same breakfast 6 mornings and we did not have a change to choose a different one. The service there was also cold and not friendly. The rooms are very old fashion and for a long time ago they should have redone the rooms.

Great location and staff but dated facilities
The location and friendly staff were great but the room itself was underwhelming. Could walk to most tourist sites with relative ease. Amazing to walk around the corner and see the Colosseum and the staff were easy to access and helpful. Room itself was large by European standards but dated and poorly laid out. We had a family of 4 so they put us in an "apartment-style" room with 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, and a small kitchen. Everything looks pretty old - especially the bathroom. We found the kitchen area fairly useless. The built in bench seating was both uncomfortable and not arranged in a manner conducive to conversation. Also, we were there in the summer and only the bedrooms were air conditioned so the kitchen area was hot.

Small room, small bath (shower box), no desk to use laptop, room very hot (even though there is AC, they won't keep the AC Remote control available to adjust the temp). Looks like they bought a Condo Apartment and divided it in several tiny rooms. They change towels everyday and clean the room. Confortable pillows. There is a tiny elevator to bring up the luggage (it only fits 3 people/250kg). Internet/wifi doesn’t work at all.

The property was wonderful, the staff was amazing and the room was very clean. We had a great time and the access to restaurants and the many tourist sites was great. We took a taxi most places and the staff was always great to arrange one for us.

The receptionist was really kind when we firstly arrived, showed us the surroundings of the hotel in a map. The room was really nice, and the air conditioner saved us from the external temperature. It is really well situated, really close to the Colliseum and other touristic places. Overall a really nice experience for what we needed.

Very Unique! This was an apartment chopped into individual rooms. We had a large (king?) bed and a pull out couch for the four of us. Along with the bathroom there was what used to be a kitchen and a very unique terrace space. It was nice to have the outside space but it overlooked another property below. Not an issue.. just different. AC was inadequate but that's how it is in Europe. The front desk was excellent and very helpful. Location is great. Very close to Coliseum and walkable to many other Rome highlights.

Il Covo has an excellent location with many restaurants and shops with a block, and being walking distance from most of Rome's major sights. Staff was really helpful. The room was lovely and recently renovated with a very comfortable bed. The only negative is that the shower was pretty small and it's floor was very slippery.

Loved the property! Great location to see all the major sites. Breakfast was definitely worth it and the 24hr front desk service was great! Getting Ubers/taxis was really easy and there was a few bars nearby as well. We especially loved Sara who was so accommodating during our stay. Definitely recommend this place to stay.

I enjoyed my stay here, it is located very close to the colosseum which was awesome. They cleaned the room every day. It was pretty small but that is Europe for you. There was plenty of storage for our things. The only negative was the bed was really hard which was a bummer since it is such a big part of what you use a hotel for. Everything else was great.

Walks to the Colosseum
The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was beautiful. Would have loved to have been able to move the shower head and a second pillow would have been nice but those were small things to complain about when we could walk to the Colosseum everyday lol. The breakfast served each morning was generous and delicious and the rooftop sitting area was beautiful.
