Ernesto and his wife are welcoming hosts that do above and beyond to make you feel at home. Ernesto is a great cook, you should try his fish or chicken for dinner.

Casa Mia is about 15 minutes walk from the Bus Station, not too easy when the streets are cobbled and the area was experiencing one of its regular power cuts. The accommodation was typical of Cuban Casa Particulars and adequate for our needs. Ernesto and his wife were amazing hosts. They could not do enough for us. Food was typically Cuban and very tasty. Ernesto made us a few cocktails which were by far the best I had anywhere in Cuba. They were impressively resourceful and dealt very well with the regular and frequent power cuts and limited produce. Air conditioning was very good when electricity was available.

Great comfort and great fun with terrific convenience! I had the best time staying with Ernesto and Balkys. They have a comfy house in a characterful area of Trinidad just outside of the historical centre but within easy walking reach. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious and the house has a beautiful upstairs terrace with fantastic views over the old city to the Sierra Gorda beyond. I could not have asked for more entertaining or supportive hosts. The family is incredibly kind and provided all sorts of help. Ernesto is also a terrific chef and I would recommend staying for the food alone! Many thanks to you all and I will definitely stay again my next time in Trinidad. Hasta luego!

Ernesto et Belkiss vous accueille à l'étage de leur maison. La chambre très confortable, est vaste et lumineuse avec une ventilation naturelle, en plus d'un ventilateur et d'une climatisation. L'extérieur offre un balcon et un patio très agréables. La terrasse offre de belles vue sur Trinidad , les montagnes et la mer. La casa se situe un peu à l'écart du centre ville, 10 à 15 mn à pied de la plazza Mayor, le quartier populaire regorge de petits restaurants ou boutiques (fruits, eau...). Le top du top est l'accueil d'Ernesto (qui parle français) et de Belkiss. Les repas sont excellents, les petits déjeuner vraiment complets (trop...) les cocktails sont au top. l'hébergement idéal!! Je le recommande sans aucun problème.

La pareja que regenta este alojamiento es simplemente maravillosa, nos sentimos como en casa, el mejor trato de todas las casas particulares que pasamos en Cuba, mi novia estuvo enferma varios días y nos ayudaron muchísimo, muy serviciales y simpaticos, les deseo lo mejor!

Nach einem totalen Reinfall mit einem Hotel in Varadero, wo wir schon am ersten Tag nach einer Alternative gesucht haben, entschieden wir uns aufgrund der super Bewertungen für das Hostel Mia Casa und reisten schon am nächsten Tag nach Trinidad. Das war die beste Entscheidung 😊 Ernesto begrüßte uns sehr herzlich und servierte uns einen köstlichen Willkomens-Cocktail. Es sollte nicht der einzige bleiben 😂. Wir fühlten uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl. Auch Ernestos Frau Belkys ist sehr herzlich und ihr liegt das Wohl ihrer Gäste sehr am Herzen. Wir bekamen jeden Tag ein reichhaltiges Frühstück. Auch ihre schmackhafte Pizza (die sie am eigenen Kiosk auf der Straße verkaufen) war ein Leckerbissen. Unser Zimmer war sehr heimelig und gemütlich. Das Haus war unsere Villa Kunterbunt während der Zeit in Trinidad und wir sind nach unseren Erkundungen in und um Trinidad immer sehr gerne zurückgekommen. Trinidad ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert mit seinen vielen bunten Häusern, der typischen Musik, der Nähe zum Meer und dem Regenwald mit den Wasserfällen.

Ernesto e Berkis sono 2 host fantastici! Appena arrivati a Trinidad dopo un viaggio faticoso ci hanno accolto a braccia aperte ed Ernesto ci ha addirittura preparato un ottima pizza (approvata per gli standard italiani!). La struttura fornita di internet libero, terrazza, aria condizionata in camera e tutto quello che serve per un buon soggiorno. Ci dispiace solo non esserci potuti trattenere di piu. Nous avons été très bien accueilli dans cet établissement. Les chambres et le bâtiment sont agréables, Ernesto parlant plusieurs langues, il est très aisé de se comprendre. L'hôtel se situe à 10 minutes à pieds du centre. 30 minutes en vélo du parc national el Cubano et 45 minutes en vélo de la péninsule d'Ancon. Possibilité de louer des vélos directement à l'hôtel pour 10€ la journée donc il peut être plus intéressant de comparer les prix sur Trinidad avant si besoin sur plusieurs jours. Possibilité de restauration sur place au tarif standard à Cuba ; 5€ le petit déjeuner.

Ernesto, sa femme Belkis, ainsi que la mama ont été d’un accueil incroyable ! Tout était parfait : belle maison de style colonial, grande chambre propre, douche avec pression, lit confortable, wifi gratuite. Ernesto et sa femme font tout pour vous aider dans toutes les démarches (change, réservation de taxi, conseils divers…). Cocktail et pizza d’accueil :) Super quartier, à seulement 5min à pied de la place principale de Trinidad. Le plus que l’on conseille : prendre le repas à la casa. Ce sont les meilleurs langoustes et accompagnements que nous avons mangé du séjour, et on a passé un super moment (Ernesto est cuisinier de métier). Rien à redire, un grand merci encore ! Lovely casa with incredible food!
We loved our stay with Ernesto and his family! The casa is in a good and quiet location, not too far from the bus station or the centre. There is a rooftop terrace where you can have cocktails and WiFi for an hour when you need. The highlight of our stay in Casa Mia was the food! Ernesto is an amazing chef. Make sure to have breakfast and dinner in the casa (the food in the centre of Trinidad isn’t great). Definitely get the roast chicken, it was unbelievable and the nicest dinner we had in Cuba. The breakfasts are also super fresh and plentiful. Would definitely stay here again

Quel bonheur d'avoir rencontré ernesto sa femme et la mama . Nous avons été reçu comme à la maison .je recommande vraiment cette casa, ernesto cuisine comme un chef et tous ses cocktails sont vraiment top ...et tout ça pour un prix dérisoire.
