Horrible horrible horrible.... management is super lazy and careless about there guest. Rooms a damp and smelly. Bathroom is leaked. The wall and window of the room is broken. When I asked for toilet paper they have a opened ( probably) used roll of paper. Nothing at all what is shows I the picture. Also rooms doesn't have any charging outlet. Don’t waste your money.

Wifi was only available in “lobby”. There were no premium channels as mentioned, nor a view of the city. Overpriced for the lack of quality. The staff is very kind.

When I don’t like something I usually prefer not to say anything but in this case I just could not be silent. Keylani is a horribly run down and dirty hotel. I will never stay there again, despite its excellent location and very helpful and friendly staff. The owners clearly neglect its condition. The bathrooms are disgusting. The breakfast area is filthy. The furniture is decrepit.

Yes the hotel is a little run down but the service is excellent! The hotel manager was very helpful, the staff very kind and welcoming. Great location, just a few feet from the Nile and the Aswan Bazaar. If you are going to buy souvenirs this is the place. If you are looking for Athentic cuisine, ask the hotel manager for suggestions, he is the best!

Past it’s prime
There was a mouse in our room. Management did move us to another room but both looked like they needed a good scrubbing. Probably the worst place I’ve stayed at in terms of cleanliness. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and did the best they could to accommodate us.

the room was nice for a budget hotel. it looked old but it has mini fridge, tv, good aircondition, hot and cold shower, complete toiletries and clean towels. everything we needed was there. the staff was very kind and helpful. we availed the abu simbel trip for a very cheap price compared to other tour operators. they provided wake up call to ensure that we won't miss our trip. they also gave us breakfast box because the trip to abu simbel was too early. we will definitely book this hotel again in the future

There was nothing unique about the property except That it was uniquely bad. Internet was not available for the whole stay one of my required amenities. TV and remote did not work. Took three times before they worked. No one picked up phone at reception every time there was a problem I had to walk down to reception. The bathroom had broken fixtures, peeling shower pan and no hot water. Bath towels were washed but had stains. Finally after 2 to 3 hours my room was changed. Where things did work the bathroom and towels had the same issues. When I took a shower the shower pan was too small and shower curtains a joke the whole bathroom got flooded. the hot water tap was so hot that when I tried to shut off hot water I almost burnt myself. The staff were generally nice, polite and helpful but had very little to work with. In the morning reception clerk was sleeping on the couch and was very reluctant to get up and help him and complained how tired he was. Breakfast was OK but no one was there for a second cup of coffee. There is no elevator and hot tub was out of order. Overall a very frustrating and terrible experience. The hotel is less than two stars and I would not recommend anyone to use this property. In fact I would recommend that Expedia not offer this property as a choice

Great service
Value for money. Clean. Have packed breakfast at 4am if you go to Abu Simbel. The owner is helpful and nice! We had an issue with the minibus organizer for going to Abu Simbel. The organizer mixed up the passport info of the people in our minibus with the other minibus. When we were at the police check point, the police didn’t let us go through as there should be 8 Indians but none of us were Indians. The driver just took us back to the hotel and said sorry. We could only go again tomorrow as they need to submit visitor info to the police a day prior. We came all the way to Aswan is to go to Abu Simbel and we must go on this day as we were flying out at night. The hotel owner was shocked that this happened and helped us make a few calls. He suggested us to take the public bus at 8am and we would still be able to make it and back at around 6/7pm to catch the flight. Do not book tour from Monty (Montasser Mohamed), the minibus organizer!

Not a Budget Hotel, just a basic rundown hostel
Stayed for 2 nights in Triple Room while in Aswan on Egypt tour. Scores well on location, as close to Nile,Corniche, Aswan market, travel agents ( AMR Travels rec for all tours & cruises), ATM's, Forex, restaurants, train station just 1 Mile away ( 10 EGP Taxi fare) etc. Front desk staff, especially one who calls himself Ahmed Amigo, was very helpful & always ready to assist. Complimentary Jacuzzi at their basement is the most wonderful amenity here.Beds were comfortable. But the positives end here. The entire property needs to be renovated immediately. The room allocated to us was very stuffy & musty. There was no ventilation as the small 2x2 feet balcony, for namesake, was accessible only after shifting a heavy table with a old CRT TV on it & mini fridge underneath. Then to move in the room, one has to jump on the beds as no moving space. The so called city view was nothing more than unplastered brick walls of surrounding buildings. Bathroom was so crammed that one can use shower while sitting on the commode while brushing teeth in wash basin. AC was noisy with broken vents. Breakfast on rooftop was inadequate , no buffet, just set fixed type. Wifi only at reception. No elevator. No Tea/Coffee Kettle. Crammed narrow stairs. Definitely not worth the tariff charged. As Aswan has very few options of good budget hotels, suggest spend few bucks more & have a pleasant stay elsewhere till this property is renovated fully.

Very nice people running the place. Will hook you up with some good deals to the Aswan sites. For the price, the place is a bit on the dirty end and kinda expensive in Egyptian terms.

great for an abu simbel trip
we stayed at keylany for 2 night . 1 day in aswan and 1 day in abu simbel . transport was arranged by the hotel to abu simbel , with a breakfast in a box ready ! room was ok . not really the place for a nice view but the rooftop is super nice . the only bad thing was that the wall in the room could be clean and it was hard to take a shower without having water everywhre . Short version - good for the price .
