Nice location, at the centre of thamel. Nice outside restaurant.The room we stayed was a budget room and did not expect much.the room was okay but the bathroom was very tiny and the comode lid was broken. Hot water was not working properly.

Great to be back at Hotel Florid! Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are comfortable and it’s a pleasure to spend time here. Restaurant provides a good mixed cuisine at reasonable prices. Hope to come back in 2020 to see these guys.

Cheap hotel
It was a decent hotel. You get what touch pay for. First night I paid $20 for the nicer room since the cheaper ones weren't available. After I left that room it was pretty basic. Although, my shower in the cheaper room was way better. I probably would stay here again

Centrally Located
Construction work next door was very noisy during the day but they did quit working at 6 pm and then the hotel was relatively quiet. You stay here because it is cheap and centrally located not because it's fancy.

Good location but can be noisy at night
The hotel staff were great and the room was comfortable. We had a shared bathroom which was pretty clean although a little small - so everything is always wet in there. The rooms don't block the outside sound well so it can be a little noisy at night. Good value for money though.

Ordentliches Hotel mitten in Thamel
Wir (3 Männer) haben 2x dort übernachtet, 1x vor unserer Wandertour und 1 x nach der Wandertour. Das Zimmer im 1. Stock war abgewohnt da noch nicht renoviert aber ok, das Zimmer im 4 Stock war toll, frisch renoviert und neu eingerichtet. Zu empfehlen ist das Essen im Restaurant, hat uns wirklich lecker geschmeckt. Der Chef und das Personal sind locker drauf, immer hilfsbereit und nett. Beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Kathmandu übernachten wir wieder im Hotel Florid.
