Everything we needed and literally nothing more.
This bare bones older room had very little charm, the floor has a hump in it, the toilet flapper tends to hang in the up position so we took the tank lid off so we could just tap it and make it fill. The room was very clean, K-cup coffees were good, the bed was clean and comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. We were surprised that our room was cleaned while we were out—most motels don't make your bed during your stay anymore. 5 stars because when I really don't want to pay for posh amenities I won't use because we're spending our time somewhere else, all I want is a comfortable bed, a hot shower, and decent coffee. This motel delivered 100%. Will definitely stay again.

Affordability in a location that typically is not
Very affordable room in a MOSTLY clean room in an otherwise expensive city. If you’re not going to have carpeted rooms that can be vacuumed, you have to mop the floor. It was dirty and grimy. That’s my only complaint.

The unit itself is spacious and equipped with a full kitchen, washer and dryer. The interior and furnishing looks new and well maintained despite the building looking old. We had everything we needed, there’s also daily housekeeping, a surprise for the rate we paid. Great value for money. My only complaints: 1) the bed is too soft, you would sink in and it may not be good for people with back problems. 2) our unit is the first unit by the road, people keep mistaking it as the office and we had people walking into our suite when we forgot to lock our door one morning. 3) our suite lacks privacy. The blinds leave a big gap by the full length window that exposes the bed fully to anyone outside, there’s a bench at the public foyer and a lady was sitting there when we arrived. I had to move the sofa to block that part from outside view.
