Like a vintage house, it has charm and quirks and things in need of maintenance and repair, so whether it's a good fit for you depends on your personal preference (as former owners of a 1913-era home, we appreciate the architectural details and understand the challenges of maintaining an older property, so we felt it was a worthwhile tradeoff compared to a more clean/modern/franchise-type hotel)

We came here for my birthday weekend. The stay was wonderful. Our room was very clean, the front office staff was very helpful and very nice.
