If you don't mind a brothel nextdoor.
Few food options in the area. The building is divided into a brothel section and hotel section.

Nice hotel, great personel
The personnel at the hotel was incredible, there was not too much around, a few more restaurants would be nice. but it was excellent to rest and train at Aerial Factory Bangkok and HoyHon Circus.

Nothing good middle of nowhere
I always keep an open mind about a hotel that I never stayed at I always try to find a positive a positive been its very close to rca area not much else apart from traffic firstly hotel is located on the main petchiburi rd and to cross the road well never gonna be easy with thai traffic taxi needs to drive a fair way to do a u turn if coming from the other side i took an instant dislike to the hotel this was just my feeling I really was so desperate to just get in the room the staff never had my booking when they did finally find it took ages to sort out I dont know why thought my booking included breakfast but it didnt according to the staff at q hotel maybe I was wrong however even the pictures didnt look like it would be anything worth waking up for anyway so I dont feel as if I missed out .finally after a getting to my room and a few flights of stairs I was desperate to get showered and get my head down but the Indian hotel porter had other ideas just hanging about after I told him three times I need a shower and sleep he was just hanging on for a tip showing me things that was not necessary the more he hang on the more I was getting fed up im sure this hotel has got many good things about it it just wasnt for me I booked the q hotel for two nights but I only stayed one night I checked out early found a much nicer hotel

good room for good price but no no useful service
The hotel is just a stonethrow from the Saen Saep Express boat which takes you quick and cheap to everywhere in the New Centre of BKK as well as close to Khao San Rd.So location is good. The rooms are nice and have a good standard although they should tear out that old carpet.Comfy new mattress, big flatscreen TV, a sofa with table, fridge, kettle, tea&coffee etc. But dont expect room service, only if you ask for it at reception. And also the light is terrible in the rooms, too dim!But for that price (we paid 690Baht) I still think its a bargain!!

Clean, comfortable and quiet.
Enjoyed our stay, second visit.
Very clean, comfortable room and bed. A few items like the shower had problems but overall better than most hotels in this price range. Location not the best for shopping etc. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant food very good, not overpriced.

RCA Alley within walking distance
I decided on this hotel since it is located in an area where I had an appointment. It was also very close to the RCA Alley that I would like to check out. The price was an absolute bargain.
I didn't stay very long, one night with a late check in and an early check-out. I didn't even see the place during daylight until I was heading out the door. It looks good in the evening though.
Front desk staff was very pleasant, quick and efficient.
The rooms were small but felt alright even though we were two adults sharing the room. It felt pretty modern and we were able to play some mp3’s from an usb on the lcd tv in the room. Aircon worked well but it took a while to cool the room down.
This is a good option to stay. If I ever have business in this part of the town again, I would not hesitate to stay here.
There was not much happening outside the hotel, just a main road, but a 7eleven were just a short distance away. RCA Alley is well within walking distance and there are plenty of entertainment options available.

I wouldn't go there again but it was cheap
My wife was having surgery in a nearby hospital so I booked this. Very, very cheap and for the cost, I guess it wasn't bad. But I wasn't comfortable. Air conditioner made too much noise, TV didn't work (I didn't care), didn't feel very clean even with the "faux boutique" look. Room was dark. Except for the air conditioner, it was quiet. Oh yes, and mosquito in the room (with no open window). Did not make for good sleeping which is the only reason I booked it.

Decent sized room, good value
Compared with many hotels in the price range offers good value with a decent sized room. It would be better still if there was always someone who spoke English in reception but that only was some of the time.

Should have stayed at the Atrium Hotel
We should have stayed at the Atrium Hotel down the street on Petchaburi Road. This was my sixth trip to Bangkok and I should have stayed at a place where I would have felt more comfortable. As they say, "you pay for what you get." Given that my nightly rate at Q was $20 a night versus $60/night at the Atrium; in hindsight I would stay at a hotel that has safes in their rooms. Security gives a traveler a piece of mind. My other complaint is that the bathroom is small. No bathtub, just a shower and a small sink countertop with a faucet that was about to fall apart. Plus hot water was a hit or miss depending on the time of day. The bed was situated against two walls and it was elevated by an annoying solid wooden riser that my girlfriend and I would accidentally bang our leg or shin against. As far as the staff goes, they were friendly but a little bit of English would help. Asking for "Coke", "fish sauce", "Sprite", and "towels" was lost in translation. One is better off walking down on Petchaburi road for some good street food or taking a taxi to Thonglor neighborhood for some excellent local cuisine.

Bit out of town but good value
We stayed here for a couple of nights whilst exploring bangkok. Rooms are fine, spacious and the staff just about know enough English to help out. Taxi drivers do not know where it is tho so get the hotel to write some thai instructions on their business card to help you out. Breakfast was extra 100 baht but was fine

nice hotel
Nice clean and modern rooms, good service, friendly and helpfull staff. Not best location in BKK. Metro is 25 min walk, but taxis readily available in surrounding area. Will stay here again next time.
The receptionist did not speak good English, and he was not trying to help. He and other staff did not seem to know the area around. If you are not familiar with BKK, do not stay here. You need to get some good assistance for directions. The lobby is nice, but the hall ways and rooms are not as nice as the lobby at all.

Far away but good price.
I have been to Bangkok before. So I knew where to go. If it's your first or second visit, this place would be too much of a challenge. Yet it's cheaper compared to other 3 star hotels.
