We had a fabulous stay at Zest. Tina & Petros work so hard to create a home-from-home experience.
We loved:
- the pre-arranged airport collection & welcome drink
- the breakfasts : tasty homemade veggie cakes & mini-wraps,waffles, biscuits & muffins,locally sourced brown bread & eggs. Tina uses their garden produce so well
- the clean pool - beautiful & peaceful setting - with flowers around,the honesty bar,
- the well equipped kitchen,: real oven, filter coffee machine, mini grill & good space. Zest also provided washing up liquid & cloths/ tea towel - unusual for an appartment. The coffee mugs, glasses nice & plentiful.
- the free wi-fi worked well
- the cleanliness throughout, regular changes of linen & daily bathroom replinishment. it's like a hotel but with advantages of an appartment -the good amount of space: two bedrooms,for three adults), the outdoor & indoor sofas were relaxing. The beds were confortable, air con in all the rooms& a clothes airer
The appartments are 10 mins from Xi Beach and opposite a car rental company which made hiring a car easy. There are 4 buses a day which we caught outside the appartment. This helps - given that there is only one limited mini-market nearby. There are taxis - we took one late evening 10 Euro one back from Lixouri. We did frequent trips by regular ferry from Lixouri to Argostoli
It was a joy to meet Tina & Petros, friendly, fun, and caring. Thank you for everything - we loved our visit to beautiful Kefallonia
