Could be better
Overall a good stay with easy to access train station directly in front of hotel entrance. Biggest issue was the very badly orientation of the furniture was extremely cramped and uncomfortable. Due to fear of damaging furniture I was unable to move anything and had to deal with the poorly designed room.

Disappointed for the first time
The staff were helpful and friendly as usual across the APA brand of hotels. They were very efficient in assisting customers to check in and check out. Location was handy and easy to go about. But there were cockroaches crawling on the desk and mirror at night even my room was on the 19th floor. This wasn't something I would expected. Some large scale pest control has to be done as this would only be the tip of the iceberg. I was generally satisfied with my past experiences with APA but a bit disappointed this time around.

Tiny but convenient
Tiny room with an uneven mattress . The view was outstanding from the 28th floor. Close the a 7 eleven and a variety of food and beverage locations just at few steps away. Subway is literally 10 seconds from the hôtel entrance.

We have stayed at multiple APA hotels this trip. Nagoya, Tokyo and Osaka. By far this osaka apa was the most disgusting. The floors were dirty, bathroom was dirty, there were stains and thick dust on the floors and the bathroom shower curtain was gross. We liked Nagoya and Tokyo as they were clean and exactly what you would expect for a budget business hotel. But this was next level dirty and check in was the worst with the checkin machines and staff standing over your shoulder instead of just doing it for you as the other places did.

This hotel is located in front of the Higobashi subway station (Y12) of the Yotsubashi Line, Exit 3 which is a blessing after traveling by subway especially with many shopping bags. Like all APA hotels, the room service is done on the third day of your stay while clean towels and robes are provide daily. You have to put out your used robes, towels and trash bags in front of your hotel door when leaving in the morning. I like this, because I don't need to pack away my stuff every morning. Of cause I remove my valuables from the hotel just in case. There are 7 Eleven, pharmacy and isakaya and other eateries right across the street. There are other isakayas eateries on the side of the hotel. Ice is available on every floor, but microwave is available only on the second floor. You can buy many high quality prepared food from many food markets on the basements (B1 or B2) of many commercial or shopping buildings. Do an internet search to find them. You can also buy large plastic water bottles to refill your portable water bottles saving money and friendly for the environment. Fast check out buy dropping both of your room cards in to the exiting check out bins before the check out time.
