10/10 Excellent

Room were fairly comfortable and relatively spacious for a quick stay
Aleem, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Great stay, clean facilities and friendly staff, especially Maximiliano from Front Desk.
PABLO, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

Spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds. Bathroom was space but effective. Wish there were more pillows - only 1 per bed. I would stay here again
Christine, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

The property is an out-of-season boarding school/dormitory. We stayed in a 3-person family style room. Breakfast is very expensive. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Samantha, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

Kind staff, but room was very simple and the cleaning was forgotten. Although the prices in Iceland are very high. This prices is not according to the room and facilties you get.
Dineke, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

The hotel felt and looked like an old school dormitory. There was definitely a shortage of outlets in the room (I found only one) and the decor and furnishings were 80's college dorm room.
Michael, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Ok for price. Basic hotel but clean and quiet. Our room was large with an upstairs. Some floors are harder to access with suitcase as the lifts don’t go to the 1/2 floors but it’s not impossible. You will need a sleep mask in the summer as the curtains do not block out light
Kerstin, 2-night trip

4/10 Poor

Not what we expected. It’s a school dorm. Rooms were not very clean. Bathroom was horrible. Want my money back
Navjot, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

This is a good hotel that other than in the summer, is a dorm for the nearby junior college. Thus every room is set up like a dorm with desks, beds and lots of storage space. We had a triple room which was two levels, which is cool, but the upper level which had the double bed, was accessed with only a very narrow spiral staircase. Bathroom was on the first floor of the room. Since it is a dorm there were several nice public places on each floor with couches etc. Breakfast was very good. The lead picture for the hotel is for the city pool, which is across the street.
Grier, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Good size room, friendly staff.
Sharun, 1-night trip

Adam, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Rachel, 1-night trip

Spacious Rooms

The room was comfortable and very spacious. Great spot for exploring the surrounding area.
1-night trip

8/10 Good

Clean and quiet.
Jonathan, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Although the room was okay: clean but very small bed for one person. The property closed the lobby door from 23 to 7 o clock. If you’re happen to step outside there is no way to walk inside the hotel. There is a sign hanging with a phone number to call. However, when you call there is no signal and nothing happens. I was stuck outside because I needed to step out for a fresh air and could not come in back. Luckily, someone walked out and I was able to get inside. There are no magnetic keys. They give you an old fashion key for the room, but not for the lobby entrance. There was no fridge and the bed was not. Eye comfortable and very small. Breakfast was delicious and very good.
Yana, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Satisfactory service

A hotel located in the north of Egilsstadir. The facilities are relatively old and the service is quite satisfactory.
Ji, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Bare-bones property, OK for one night since we were just passing thru but would book a different place next time.

6/10 Okay

Strange hotel, which looks like it also can serve as student accommodation during off peak times. Room was fairly basic - no tv. Car park is down the street. Staff were friendly. Breakfast provided was good
Neville, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Rooms are outdated, no TV in room. The view is spectacular overlooking the countryside! Ask for more pillows but overall convenient to town and restaurants.
Chris, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

The drawbacks of this hotel have been well documented in other reviews. It is not the kind of place where you would want to spend a week, being quite Spartan, but if , like me, you want a cheap place for a good nights sleep it is perfectly adequate. Easily walkable from the airport along a flat tarmaced path, so save yourself the taxi fare.
Mark, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Nice setup. Good stay
Spencer, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Everything was adequate, basic, and clean.

8/10 Good

I misunderstood what was meant by private bathrooms, when I booked - this is rooms with a sink, but showers and toilets are shared (each has its own locking door.) Everything was clean and worked out great.
