Manila is a large city with a variety of different areas from old to modern. Clean and vibrant areas to run down areas like any large city. The people are the best as they are very friendly. Prices are not cheap when at mall but look for markets

Manila is amazing. Yes, some parts are unsafe, but that is a structural issue with deeper roots. The people are extremely kind, and this is my favorite country. I don't know how anyone could find a better place
