Perfect location and a great place to stay. Comfortable bed, pillows, good communication before arrival, easy checkin and checkout, doors use a code to unlock so no key to carry around, free drink wooden coin waiting in the room for the place next door with outdoor seating and live music the night we were there.

We loved our stay at the Leland House! Perfect location in the heart of Durango. Free parking. Excellent communication before and during our stay. Really helpful staff helped troubleshoot problems with TV immediately. Comfortable room albeit a little small. Lots of amenities and everything worked great. Alec was wonderful. Rooms small but everything very cleverly considered to make the most of space and be as charming and comfortable as possible. Lovely ambience, service and location. Not a bad place to stay and conveniently located to all downtown attractions. Mattress was very stiff for my taste, and had a hard time sleeping. Noises travel through the room very easily, but to be expected from a place this old. Bathroom was. Little small as well, but useable.

Leland House is a lovely place to stay right in the heart of Durango. Our hosts communicated early and often the day of our arrival. Check im and check out was seamless. There is easy parking right around the back. They are pet friendly too. Our room was comfortable and clean. There was cool water in the fridge waiting for us. Every need was considered includung dishes and bathroom amenities. This is also very walkable to all parts of Durango. Wonderful overall experience!

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed!
I spent 1 week in Durango, CO, and had the chance to stay in 3 different hotels in the same location. Among all of them, Leland House was, by far, the best experience. The customer service was amazing, very responsive and made everything possible for us to have the best experience during our stay. They have free bike rentals for their guests, the room is modern and cozy, there’s AC, fan, and fridge in the bedroom. Location is great, walking distance to the best restaurants in town and they provide free self parking. If we ever return to Durango, we will definitely stay at Leland’s again!

Great Location in Downtown Durango
The Leland House is a historic old inn located in downtown Durango, only a block off Main. Parking is right behind the building. The area is safe and has lots of restaurants, bars, shops and the train depot within a five minute walk. Having stayed there twice, we missed the included breakfast that is no longer offered. The room we stayed in was a bit small. Next time we will opt for a larger one. All in all it is a nice, relaxing place to stay with a hard to beat location.

This is one of the older buildings in Durango that was renovated into a small hotel and has kept much of its original bones including the wood floors and brick walls. It is perfect, comfortable, and beautiful. It is in the downtown area so walking distance to the train and restaurants. In fact the owners of the hotel have a small restaurant next door that has great food. If you decide to take some time in Durango, I recommend the Leland House highly and would return without hesitation.
