Comfortable and stylish hotel in a great location
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel de mi indepencia. The room was very comfortable and stylish, breakfast was great, and we loved the location and communal patio. Our room had no windows, but good air conditioning - this meant it was also nice and quiet. The hot tub was also a lovely extra. The hotel is contact free, and we didn’t have very good communication from them after we asked via WhatsApp and email about a few things. But once we had spoken to the on-site staff, we had the answers we wanted (mostly!).

First time in Oaxaca and HOLT was conveniently close to everything. Really cute outside and inside. They have self-check-in and check-out services, so you don't have to deal with people. I like that but there is also staff there to help with morning breakfast, and snacks, and someone guarding the front door. Overall really nice, quiet, and safe.

Pleasant and charming
This is a cross between a hotel and an Air BnB. It’s very cute. Room is nice and bathroom is charming and large. You check in and out on your own. Access codes are provided, but how they are used is less clear. If you have a request you contact the staff via text or email by a certain time of day. Confirmation of requests are prompt, but the service requested sometimes requires several tries. There is a continental breakfast, which begins at 8:30 so if you’re the type that wants to get an early start to the day, you’re on your own. However, if you do have breakfast, the courtyard is a very pleasant place to enjoy it. Overall, a very enjoyable stay, and good value, but don’t expect the services of a hotel.

We loved our stay at Holt. The property is so beautiful and the courtyard was so serene! I enjoyed my morning cups of coffee there. The staff were super friendly, attentive and very professional. Daily breakfast was delightful! The key code options to access the property and our room was convenient. Unfortunately the rooftop was inaccessible during our stay which was a little disappointing as we were looking forward to exploring that, and we also had some issues activating the main door key code manually, but we were able to use the app for this so that was super helpful! Would definitely stay here again, everything was an easy walk from Holt. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Habitación muy independiente
El lugar es muy placentero. Es muy independiente y con los códigos que te envían haces todo. Mi estancia incluia desayuno, que es sencillo pero muy sabroso. El espacio es muy elegante. Mi cama era king y comoda. Tenia una pantalla que incluia Netflix. El baño era espacioso, el jabon eta bueno. El closet también tiene cerradura electrónica y en general el lugar se siente seguro. La localización es muy buena, es en el centro, cerca de restaurantes y tiendas. El aeropuerto también esta a 20 minutos en auto. Tengo que mencionar que no hay personal fuera de horas de oficina.
