We loved everything about Château Bonalgue and only wish our stay was much longer. We felt welcomed and at home from the very first minute. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable and the living/breakfast room is warm, bright and beautiful. Guests can use the kitchen. The breakfast of pastries, yogurt, etc. was delicious and the wine tasting was a special treat. If we return to the region we would consider basing here. It’s simple to get to St. Emilion by car or taxi or to Bordeaux and many other destinations by train.

Sadly we only spent one night here and had to leave very early in the morning. Beautiful accommodation, spotlessly clean and warm and welcoming hosts. We got to do a wine tasting and ordered some of the delicious wine to be shipped to us. Took our own food (wine and cheese and bread) and we’re able to use the kitchen to prepare it all. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

A beautiful Chateau with beautiful rooms overlooking the vineyard. The people are very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed an informative tour with wine tasting, highly recommended even if you are not staying here. Breakfast is fresh and delicious. Furthermore, as a guest you can use the facilities in the kitchen and living room all day long or enjoy it outside on the terrace by the vineyard. Discovering the area by bike is great fun. Many good restaurants within cycling distance.
