Canggu is currently under construction, so you're not just dealing with the normal motorbikes, cars & taxis ... but now the trucks with building materials deliveries, etc. Once the construction has been completed I'll return to normal though.

Canggu has rapidly changed and is becoming quite built up. The roads are not well planned, it takes a significant amount of time to travel around this area, as there are not many routes available by car, scooters are preferable.

The Pererenan area is a more quiet area. The Canggu area is very vibrant with many dining and spa options, however the traffic can be quite an issue.

Canggu is now very vibrant, with plenty of good food options & amazing bars! For spa, I will highly recommend the 4-hands & warm stones massages at eSpace.

"We had a very great experience at the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was not ready at the check in time so the host made sure to accomodate us with a diner to give us the best experience possible."
"I stayed at Eastin Ashta for 6 nights in Canggu. I could not have asked for anything better!! I was a 5 minute walk to the beach and I was able to walk to all other beaches from my location. My balcony faced the back of the hotel but I could see the ocean if I turned to the left. They have a beautiful pool area for sitting and lounging and the food was amazing. I feel like the restaurant doesn't get much credit. Everything was delicious!! I made sure I was up for breakfast. I was so thankful that I added the extra add-on because finding food is easy - there are restaurants everywhere! - but fresh fruit juices, healthy salads, and food that tastes like it was made with love on a daily basis is a treasure. Canggu was very busy but the resort is near the end of the street so it actually does get quiet. There is a very fancy club - Desa Kitsuneé - next door and they have a DJ Tues & Fridays. I enjoy a good party so the music didn't bother me. It stopped right at 1AM on Tuesday. I was given free entry and I went my last night and I was glad I did. It was a Canggu I had never seen!! If you're worried about the noise - Canggu is fullof noise no matter where you go. Staying here was like an Oasis in the middle of a hurricane. Staff were very warm and friendly. The room was perfect and the bed was very comortable. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend to anyone who wants to be close - but not too close - to the busyness. FYI, it's a family resort so kids are present too. "
"The rooms, the restaurant, the gym, the lounge, the pool area are were perfect. I chose this over another highly rated hotel and so glad I did. The staff were lovely too.
I ate here every morning and every night. The meals are what I would expect from a michellan hat restaurant.
This place was nothing less than perfect.

"Amazing stay — one night wasn’t enough!
We stayed at Noema Resort Pererenan for a weekend family getaway and had such a great experience. The hotel just soft-opened, but already feels very special. We loved the 15-minute foot massage, one-time free minibar, and the eco-friendly backpack gift. The design is beautiful and every corner is so Instagrammable.
There’s a fun playground for all ages, wall climbing, and breakfast at Mamaloma Restaurant was amazing — both buffet and à la carte—big thanks to Evan, Clara, and the team for the thoughtful service.
The location is also great, with lots of popular cafes nearby like St. Ali and Kilo Kitchen. Or even go to Pererenan beach, you can walk, bike, or even take their electric Bajaj or vintage campervan, just ask for their availability. Would love to stay longer next time!"
